Inquiring About Ezra’s Family

"You are right. The person I sent to pick up your family hasn't returned yet."

The Emperor tapped his fingers on the table. His eye bags were dark and his face was pale, and since he too was a human, he had completely forgotten about this matter.

"Your Majesty, we have to send more people who are stronger and capable to know what really happened," said Ezekiel.

"You are right. I'll leave this to you. Can you handle it?” asked the Emperor then. He rose from his seat and checked his timepiece. “I have to meet someone. You two don't go out of the palace, understand?"

"Is Father going out of the palace?" asked Ezekiel who quickly grabbed his father's arm.

“Yes,” Axias replied concisely.

“Bring our best people with you, Father. I made a miscalculation. I shouldn't have thought that the Capital was safe. Those closest to us can be attacked at any time, including you, Father," said Ezekiel.

“You think anyone can hurt me so easily in this world?” asked Axias then.
