The Lycans were getting ready to move out. It was a huge army that took up all the space in the castle courtyard. The Lycans had brought their own supplies with them.

They looked like a giant mass of fur, teeth, and claws as they gathered around the courtyard. They would be marching soon enough.

Liam was standing next to Harriet when she turned towards him and said, "We have confirmed that His Highness is alive. But he's unreachable right now. Even Heinrich Hyacinth's raven could not reach him."

"I'm sure he's fine, though," Liam said. He hoped so.

It looked like overcast, but there wasn't much wind at the moment. There were no clouds overhead, just a dark grey sky. Snow piled up on the ground from last night and the day before. And it was cold. Colder than usual for this time of year.
