Peace

"A parade?" Liam asked as he and his parents enjoyed their dinner that night.

"Yes. A peace parade celebrating the start of social-economic relations between Euclase and the West Continent. Ah, no. We are not allowed to refer to them as the 'West Continent' anymore now," Theodore said calmly.

"Petunia," Liam tilted his head. "We must refer to them as Petunia now?"

"Yes. They wanted to be referred to as the Petunia Continent from now on because it's more courteous than just referring to them as 'the West'," Theodore said.

"It's quite nice, too, since in Petunia, they are not allowed to refer to us as the 'Central Continent' anymore either. They are required to refer to us as Euclase from now on," Esme said.

Liam had just read the news from the paper. But everything felt incredibly strange.
