"We have to go and help him," Micah said and ran towards the door but Kurt ran after him and tackled him to the ground.
"Stop, Micah. We have to be smart about this before we do anything. We have to think," Kurt told him.
"What's there to think about? That maniac is going to kill my father. Let me go," Micah struggled with Kurt on the floor.
"You're just going to end up caught like him. There's nothing you can do. If we put our heads together, maybe we can come up with a plan but we can't rush out. Be practical!"
Micah began to relax as Kurt's words sunk into his head. He realized that he was right and they needed to come up with a plan rather than just run out and be captured as well.
"Fine! What do we do?" Micah asked.
Kurt helped him up and they both turned to the magical twins for any ideas.

.
"Phileous Lannid, Kingsguard of Troleyadia, what are you doing protecting the seeds?" The Ginx asked him.
The Ginx recognized him as Phileous and knew he had followed the children to this realm all those years ago to kill them but now that he was protecting them, the Ginx was sure Phileous had betrayed King Darth.
Philip didn't want the kids to find out the truth about him so he stuck his hands in his pocket and brought out his phone. He pushed a bottom on it and it disabled the audio from the cameras so they couldn't hear what the Ginx was saying through the footage.
He dropped the phone on the ground and looked straight at the mask on The Ginx's face.
"I'm protecting them because I refuse to be a weapon for that tyrant," Philip told the Ginx defiantly.
"You've made a terrible choice, Phileous and now, you will suffer the consequences," The Ginx said and a knife appeared in his hand.
"If you kill me, you'll never be able to get into that room," Philip said, trying to buy himself some time.
"I don't need you to get in there. Sooner or later, they'll have to come out,"
The Ginx raised his knife and was about to kill Philip when the Kingsguard suddenly punched him in the stomach and sent him crashing hard into some of the artefacts displayed in the living room.
"How did he just do that?" Joe asked Micah when they saw Philip deliver the super-powered punch to the assassin.
"He's wearing the rune ring," Micah replied happily, aware that the ring would give his father a chance to survive against the Ginx.
"What's a rune ring?" Lydia asked.
"It's an ancient Troleyadian weapon we found in the Sahara desert a few years ago. There's a rune on the ring and my dad translated it and he realized it was a weapon to fight Ginxes with.
"If you wore the ring and punched a regular person, it'd be a regular punch but, if you wore the ring and punched a Ginx, you could do some real damage," Micah told them.
Back outside, Philip ran over to the wall and grabbed one of the swords that were hanging on display.
It was made of Troleyadian steel and was the sword he had when he was still a Kingsguard. He wielded the weapon and stood his ground, waiting for the Ginx to get up.
"That rune ring isn't going to save you, traitor. You are no match for the powers of a Ginx," The assassin said as he got up from the floor.
His hands were glowing and he was ready to use his powers against the former Kingsguard.
"If you had any honour, you'd fight me without your powers," Philip said, tugging at his ego.
"I see what you're doing," The Ginx said and his hands powered down, "I'll indulge you,"
The Ginx materialized his sword and leapt at Philip. They swung their swords, slashing and clashing against each other as they both tried to land a hit.
Philip was very skilled with the sword but he was rusty and also, the Ginx was a lot better than he was. The assassin brought his weapon down on Philip but he blocked with his sword and left himself exposed.
The Ginx kicked him in the stomach and he fell to the floor in pain.
His father was losing this fight and Micah couldn't sit back and do nothing any longer.
"I'm going out there," He said and opened a hidden compartment underneath the desk of monitors.
He took out a loaded handgun from the desk and turned off the safety.
"Will a gun work on the Ginx?" Lydia asked.
"I don't know. This is the first Ginx we've ever encountered but I don't care. I have to help my father," Micah said and got up.
Joe grabbed his hand and stopped him.
"You guys can stay here if you're too scared but I'm going out there so don't try to stop me," He said to them.
"I'm not trying to stop you. I'm coming with you," Joe said.
"So am I," Lydia said also.
"You are?"
"Of course. You and your dad helped us and now, it's our turn to help you," Lydia said.
"When we go outside, Lydia and I will keep him busy and try our best to stop him," Joe said.
"But what if you can't? What if he kills you guys?" Kurt asked.
"I don't know but it's like Mr Philip said; we can't stay in here forever," Joe replied.
.
.
Back outside, Philip was in pain and was being dominated by the Ginx. He was on the floor and was badly beat up while the Ginx stalked him.
Philip saw his sword on the floor and crawled over to it. He grabbed it but wasn't able to lift it because the Ginx stood on his hand.
The assassin kicked the weapon away and pointed his at Philip.
"Tine to die, traitor,"
The door of the panic room opened and the twins rushed out with fire in their hands. They shot their flames at the Ginx and blasted him across the floor.
He was engulfed in flames and screamed as he burned. He fell to the floor and they thought he was dead.
He wasn't!
The Ginx got up quickly and ran at the twins but Micah stepped out and shot him in the chest. The Ginx stopped moving and held his chest. He was bleeding and it didn't look good for him.
Still, the assassin kept moving towards the kids and Micah was forced to shoot him again, and again, and again until the Ginx fell to the floor.
He crawled to the side of a wall and leaned against it with blood everywhere.
Philip stood up and walked over to his son. He took the gun from him and hugged his little boy while Kurt and the twins looked at the Ginx who was on the verge of death.
"My death doesn't mean this is over. There are many more Ginxes in this world looking for you two and they will find you and end you.
"It is our mission to stop the prophecy from happening and we will do so even at the cost of our lives. Do you think you've won the war? It's only just beginning," The Ginx said.
"Who sent you to kill us?" Lydia asked him.
"Your own..." The Ginx was about to say but Philip shot him in the head with the gun to prevent him from revealing the truth.
It wasn't the right time for Lydia and Joe to find out the truth about who they were and who was after them.
"Why did you do that?" Kurt asked.
"His hands were lighting up. He was going to try one last attempt to kill us with his magic so I did what had to be done," Philip lied.
The Ginx was dead but his body disintegrated into a cloud of smoke and he was gone. They had survived this time but there was so much more to come and they needed to be ready for it, for their sake, for the sake of all of Troleyadia and the entire realm of Randos.
