Today was the day that I was going to get my sister back. I wanted her to be with me and now that we were building a better home for ourselves, she would be safe. She didn't have to stay with Tristian, and I was no longer dependent on him. I could protect my sister and I would. I would never allow anyone to hurt her and that included my mother. All my life I was raised on decisions that were not mine. My mother was everything to me but now I saw right through her. My sister and I were nothing but meal tickets for her.
