DRAVEN

I knew that hitting him wasn't the best decision but I couldn't control myself. He had pissed me off so badly with his disgusting words. Who the hell did he think he was anyway? If he thought that I was going to fear him, he was wrong. I knew that he was powerful, but I wasn't going to show him that he scared me. My hand stung from the impact and I cradled it to my chest. It hurt me to hit him but I could tell that it hurt him too. His face was turned to the side and it stayed that way for what seemed like forever. Everyone was frozen in place, not moving an inch. He rubbed his jaw slowly before turning to face me. His piercing blue eyes were now silver with rage. I gulped and took a step back as he came closer to me. Before I could run away two men grabbed me and held me still. I stared up at him as he caressed my face with the back of his hand.

"I'm going to kill you," he whispered. I closed my eyes tight as he reached for me.
