A PROMISE

I wasn't expecting Zero to be back yet because he was supposed to be at the border. But the fact that he was standing in front of me couldn't be good at all. He told me that he wanted me to go straight home and even warned me about Draven. I knew that he was going to be upset and I wasn't ready to feel his wrath that I knew was coming. I gulped and took a step back as he came closer. Surprisingly, Draven didn't move away from me. He held me in his arms and made sure that our skin touched as much as possible. I knew that he was doing this to make Zero angry and I hated it. I could only blame myself though because I wasn't supposed to be here with him.

"Don't look so sad, brother. I did you a favor by telling her what was going on. You tried everything that you could to try and hide it from her but she deserved to know the truth."
