I knew that I needed to talk to Zero about the decision that I made to submit to Draven. There was no way around it and I knew that I couldn't keep the secret from him. No matter what, I had to give in. Zero was going to fall asleep and I was going to go through my heat cycle. I walked inside the house and I was surprised to see him waiting for me. He was sitting on the steps staring straight ahead. I took a deep breath and forced a smile. 


"Hey, I'm glad that you're here. I think that we need to talk." 


He looked up and stared at me for a minute. His eyes were dark and I could tell that he was irritated. Was it a good time to mention this to him or would it upset him further. I stood there waiting for him to speak, but he didn't. I folded my arms across my chest and chewed on my bottom lip. What was I supposed to say to him?
