Chapter 14 Mana and Magic

Mana.

The fundamental energy for life and power.

It is said over half of the existing species depend on mana to survive.

Magic spells are the phenomena caused by the use of mana.

There are two types of magic spells.

The first type is a mysterious one if you know the rules magic follows.

It only consists of choice and invocation.

As simple as that.

Further explanation on that is. You choose a spell, and invoke it.

The exact principles are still unknown, some mages can do this from birth for a specific spell or spells, while others can suddenly do it on magic spells they cast countless times.

Well then I said the first type, however it is more likely my colleagues will call it the second type.

However, for me, I have a theory that the second type supports the first type.

The second type is the magic everyone uses.

The steps required are:

Choice, activation, construction, conjunction, injection, change and finally invocation.
