He's Crazy 'Cause of That Poison

Shan, like the others, places his backpack on the ground. They took a look around the house. It is ideal for a small family home. It's not huge, but it's also not too small. The interior furnishings are complete, from the smallest to the largest.

There are two rooms, one large and one small. The kitchen is large, with a round dining table for four people. A section of the living room without a table and a long, spacious sofa. The house window is parallel to the direction of the sofa's view.

"I'm going to take a break." Leon sat on the sofa. Lie on your back with your back to the roof. His face was pale, and sweat dripped from his brow.

Shan sighed softly as he looked at Leon. "He said he didn't get a scratch, how many arrows did you shoot at him?"

Leon responded with a raised his finger.

No matter how powerful an Alpha Leon is, he is still a living being who can be injured, weakened, or even killed. The poison that struck his body was not strong enough to kill him, but it did provide him with a few hours of rest.

Shan and Gretta let Leon rest and did what needed to be done. Shan inspects and cleans the room, while Gretta cleans the kitchen utensils. She needed to get their lunch ready quickly.

How? Have you started to look like a happy little family? A wife is cooking for her exhausted husband and her sister-in-law, who is assisting her. Perfect.

"How long should he rest?" Gretta inquired, as they were both preoccupied.

"It could be a half-day or only two hours.  It all depends on his mood."

Gretta smirked. She  attempts to comprehend Shan's words. Does it depend on your mood?

"Normally, even if it was a milder poison than this, he would sleep for hours on end." Shan elaborated. "...because he's lazy," he added.

Gretta, who had been listening intently, took a breather. Leon caught her gaze. The man still appeared sleepy.

'Is it really sleeping now, or is it pretending to sleep?' she wondered.

"It was true sleep. He just passed out, so it's the poison's effect."

Gretta nodded in agreement, but she quickly came to her senses. She turned to face Shan, who was washing his hands beside her.

"I haven't said anything," she explained.

"Ah…" Shan muttered, perplexed. "I guess Leon already told you, it's a werewolf ability." We have the ability to read other people's minds."

Gretta snorted in annoyance because Leon had duped her.

"Sorry if I sound a little arrogant, but I won't read your mind casually." It was completely unplanned." Shan clarifies so that Gretta does not misinterpret him and becomes uncomfortable with him.

"I understand, no problem." Gretta smiled at him, but she was already irritated on the inside. Not to Shan, but rather to Leon.

Shan wanted to know the location around them after he excused himself to go out for a while. What is it and how does it work? Gretta's activities continued.

The sun was directly above them, and the clock on the wall read three o'clock in the afternoon, which surprised Gretta. She double-checked the time by looking at the clock.

"Ah, the clock has stopped," she thought to herself. After all, how could a wall clock survive in an old house that had been abandoned for so long?

Gretta approached the man's body with her mischievous mind after seeing Leon, who was still fast asleep. Gretta was watching from every angle. The man's face was attractive, but it frequently irritated him.

Leon's face now appears to be better than before, indicating that his body was able to break down the poison earlier.

Gretta knelt, hugging her knees, staring at Leon from head to toe. The man's body was extremely tall and athletic, similar to that of a werewolf. Always appears dashing, strong, and charismatic.

Leon's warmth was very comforting when he was close to her, hugging her body. Gretta was both ecstatic and embarrassed when she reflected on it. Leon's body... was ideal for cuddling.

Gretta only had to warn herself now, lest the man wake up and catch Gretta with her dirty thoughts again. But it doesn't appear that will happen, as Leon's face appears to be very relaxed in his sleep.

Gretta brought her ear to Leon's face innocently. Trying to pick up on the man's breathing. "Is he really still alive?"

"You never get tired of repeating yourself," Leon said, surprising Gretta. Leon had come to his senses and was looking at Gretta from a close distance as soon as she turned her head.

Gretta was about to pull her face away when Leon grabbed her body and forced her to move closer to him. Gretta tried to pull her body back, but she couldn't because Leon was holding her so tightly.

"I-I'm sorry..." Gretta spoke softly. Her two hands kept her body from sticking to Leon's body, and her face was now very close to the man's face.

"You apologize and then do it again."

Gretta's face instantly turned red due to her stupidity in always doing unexpected things. She'd been in this situation before, and now she was in it again. Gretta could almost feel Leon's breath on her.

"I swear I won't do it again."

Shan appears from behind the door, humming softly and holding a bird.

Startled. He was stunned to see Leon and Gretta's positions, did not feel the bird in his hand release, and flew freely again. Shan had gone to great lengths to catch him, but all he could do now was watch the bird fly away from him.

Not only Shan, but Gretta and the realization of Shan's arrival were astounded. She tried and failed several times to pull her body away from Leon. She cursed in her heart because she was irritated by Leon's ignorance.

"D-don't mind me, just keep going." Shan appears again.

They ended up having lunch together awkwardly because of the previous incident. There was complete silence between the three.

"It was just a miscommunication." Leon began the conversation by clarifying. Gretta cast a sharp glance at him from the corner of her eye.

"Ah, okay, I see." Shan nodded, a clumsy smile on his face. Shan didn't think much of it because it was their personal business, whether it was a misunderstanding, unintentional, or on purpose.

Shan's only concern now is the fate of his prey; his fantasy of eating pigeon meat has vanished.

"No need to cry, I'll change it later!" said Leon.

"I'm not crying, I promise. Just a little sad because it wasn't easy to catch." Shan responded.

What are they talking about? Gretta could only watch as they took turns. They forget things in life in a very simple way: they look for fights and fights with each other.
