His first encounter with a girl named Gretta Orlin came by chance. An average girl who shares many similarities with Elisabeth. Her face, body, and the stench of his own blood.

Leon's mistake in mistaking Gretta for Elisabeth provoked another wolf to attack the girl.

"What are you doing?" asked Ryan who accidentally caught Mateo writing something in the room. Now he had his own space in the place. Not big, but enough for his own privacy.

"Writing letters," Mateo replied casually.

Ryan went inside and was about to pull the letter from Mateo's hand, but Mateo swatted it away from Ryan.

"A letter to Leon and Orlin, shouldn't I still act like I'm on their side?" Mateo said. Ryan looked at it without blinking an eye. Flat and looking unhappy.

"Alright, please read it." Mateo finally decided to give the letter to Ryan to read.

Once he finished reading what Mateo had written, Ryan smiled, "Do you think they're stupid? They'll know right away that you betrayed them. Sending a letter this neat in a dying state, it's not funny, Mateo." Ryan threw the letter at Mateo's feet.
