Chapter 5: Hiruzen

Awakening in her grandfathers lap, she then got down as silently as he could to not wake him up, as she wanted him to rest.

She then went towards her mother's room so that she could help her take a bath, not noticing Hashirama sitting up with a smile watching her.

After she got done with her bath, her mother brought her to the kitchen table where Tobirama, Hashirama, and Haru, were already ready seated while Mito was putting everyone's food on their plates.

Ayako placed Tsunade in her chair while the family descended into a comfortable silence. It was broken up when Tobirama asked "So when are you two planning on returning to active duty?" speaking to Ayako and Haru.

Mito frowned, as she didn't like talking about the village affairs at the dininig table, but before she could speak, Ayako responded "I have decided not to return at all, while Haru said he's going to take up active duty again when Tsunade turns three." He then turned his attention to Haru, who gulped "So your planning on returning to being a shinobi at your own convenience?"

However before Haru could respond, Tsunade came into the defense of her timid father.

"Stop bulling papa, second grandpa!" she spoke as she puffed her cheeks.

'I know this is embarrassing, but I don't like my new family arguing between each other since it could ruin their relationships.' thought Tsunade.

She has truly grown to fall in love with every member of this family and the thought of losing them is hard for her to bear, which is another reason she asked Hashirama to train her, to spend more time with him before he's gone.

"I'm not bullying your papa Tsuna, I'm just hoping he can come help me with work." he spoke in a kind and caring tone, unlike his usual self.

"I wanna help second grandpa with his work." Tsunade exclaimed as she saw a way for her to go to the Hokage's office.

Even if this was real life now, she still loved visiting places from the anime, as it made things feel more surreal.

"Are you sure Tsuna, it might be boring to you?" asked Tobirama.

"Yeah, I wanna see the Hokage building." replied Tsunade.

"Very well Tsuna. The best Hokage will show you around the building!" proudly boasted Tobirama.

"But I'm the best Hokage." Hashirama said loudly but became depressed when Tobirama said "Shut up elder brother."

After everyone finished their breakfast, Tobirama picked Tsunade up while carrying her to the Hokage Building.

While they were walking, Tobirama made a habit of telling her what the stores and locations they passed were called.

However, with him still wearing a mask of coldness, it didn't look quite correct.

Still most people who passed him on the street simply bowed as they spoke "Hokage-sama" or looked towards her and said "Tsunade-hime".

She felt as if she was royalty, making her snuggle closer into Tobirama's arms.

Tobirama mistook it as her attempt to show her love for him, and a small smile broke out onto his face, shocking many villagers in the process.

He then immediately returned to normal and picked up his pace to the Hokage building while many rubbed their eyes asking if what they saw was simply a dream.

Arriving at the Hokage Building, Tsunade looked stunned as she once again realized that the anime she once watched is now her reality.

They then entered as but before he could say anything to Tsunade, a shinobi flickered by them and whispered something into Tobirama's ear.

He said something back to the shinobi and afterwards the shinobi left while Tobirama placed Tsunade onto a chair close to the entrance and said "Grandpa has to handle something Tsuna, but I'll make sure your taken care of while I'm busy. I called them just for you. Can you be good for grandpa?"

Tsunade nodded as he kissed her forehead before disappearing.

She sat in the seat for around fifteen minutes before a handsome teen appeared before her.

"Who are you?" she asked curiously

"I'm sensei's first student, Hiruzen, and I'm here to protect you Tsunade-hime." he spoke.

Hearing this Tsunade was stunned.
