Chapter 32: Summoning Contract

Konoha

Time stands still for no one, as another year passes by for the Shinobi World. Many grew during that time as they attempted to reach new heights.

In the past year, the group of Orochimaru, Sakumo, Jiraiya, Kenta, and Tsunade grew further in strength than they had in the past. The group mastered water walking with Jiraiya taking the longest time to learn it at 2 weeks. After they mastered it, they each tested their affinities to begin learning ninjutsu and growing their control over the elements.

Orochimaru showed extreme talent as he possessed all 5 base chakra natures as well as Yin and Yang. Jiraiya seemed to be pissed at this, since he only had Earth, Water and Fire as his base releases. Sakumo possessed Fire and Lightning, and Kenta possessed Fire and Wind. Tsunade had already known hers so there was no reason for her to test it.

Since the Senju Clan had been a clan that specialized in using all types of combat instaed of specializing in one thing like Uchihas, they had contributed a large amount of their jutsu to Konoha during it's founding. So, Tsunade asked Hashirama if he would give her some low ranked jutsu for her to help her friends with their training and to her surprise, he gave them access to all the C and D ranked techniques that the Senju Clan owned. Although they were prohibited from touching the higher ranked scrolls.

Orochimaru had begun to showcase his genius by learning many C and D-ranked ninjutsu that would have taken others' weeks in mere days. He became so proficient in ninjutsu that even Tobirama praised the boy when he came to see their training.

Sakumo took a different route as he started training his kenjutsu and studying how to infuse the blade with lightning chakra and wind chakra as well as applying it into the body flicker technique. And while he couldn't use it for long periods of time, due to his blade not being able to withstand the infusion of the chakra natures, he was still able to use it for short periods of time. If he were to use it on someone who wasn't expecting it for example, he may be able to take down weaker leveled chunin.

Kenta also started to tap into his potential as he started learning genjutsu to use in conjunction with his Sharingan. While not able to do it to a high degree, he could easily put genin inside his illusion and take them out before they even realize it. He also began attempting to make his Fire Release hotter, with him having some success as most of the flames he now produces are yellow in color.

Although he also had to deal with his position in the clan rising due to him awakening his Sharingan at such an early age, with most of his clans elders wanting him to cut off contact with the others and focus on his training. But no matter what they did, Kenta would always come and challenge Tsunade once a week to a spar to see how close he was to reaching her level.

The person who surprised many everyone the most with his growth was Jiraiya as he no longer was simply restrained to only being able to throw a few punches. While his taijutsu style was still quite wild in nature, he was now able to make his attacks less predictable. He had decided to master water release first, with the reasoning he used was that he got to spend more time with Tsunade since she would help him with it. This simply got him a black eye that he swore happened when he tripped. He had learned his Water Release to a decent level, and had even begun learning Earth Release so that he could use them in battle.

The person who may have developed their strength the most would have to be Tsunade, whose strength seemed to be getting more and more terrifying. While she hadn't done much since she had focused most of her elemental training on Earth Release, to amplify her sensing technique, and Yang Release, to help heal Hashirama. In the process of doing this though, she began to study how to use Yang Release to heal others. She started by helping those who had major injuries in the hospital. It worked, with most becoming healed to the point that the injuries left no scars.

However, even when using Yang Release, she was unable to fully heal Hashirama as all it did was give him a bit more vitality without making any noticeable changes. After this result Tsunade researched it even further and with the aid of Tobirama, she came to one conclusion: she had to use a more powerful Yang Release. However this made things even harder as she could barely extract a small amount of Yang Chakra a day and even then it would dissipate soon after. She then asked Mito if she knew of any seals that could store chakra for her. But Mito finally gave her the answer that she was looking for.

Mito wiped her forehead as Tsunade saw a diamond shaped mark that was covered by makeup, which jogged Tsunade's memories of the seal.

"This is the Yin Seal. It has the ability to store the excess chakra that you send into it after each day before you go to bed. However, only those with extremely high levels of chakra control are able to achieve it, which I think you are more than capable of." Mito said.

'Why didn't i think of the Yin Seal, it's one of the canon Tsunade's most prominent jutsu. Maybe the memories of my past life are beginning to fade. Now that I think about it, although I can remember major parts of my past life and most of the anime, I can't remember something like what my name was or who my parents were. I may need to write down everything I know about the world just in case I forget it.' Tsunade thought to herself while making a mental reminder.

"But you also need to make a contract with Shikkotsu Forest first since the seal originates from them. They are one of the Three Great Sage Lands that have existed since before the time of the Sage Of Six Paths. You'll have to sign the contract and then ask Katsuyu to agree for you to become a summoner. I have no idea how the meeting will go, so it is best to go tomorrow morning after you've had a good rest." Mito said while Tsunade nodded.

After dinner, Tsunade went into her room to go to bed. She drifted off to sleep while being determined to gain the seal the next day, no matter the cost.
