Agreement with the Empress 

Less than 5 minutes after Lothur arrived at the imperial palace of the Petha Empire, he was at the door of the office of the empress, the most important woman in the state!

The Petha Empire did not currently have an actual emperor, but rather an emperor consort, the husband of the empress.

This state followed the imperial lineage, and men had precedence over women in the line of succession. But the previous emperor had only had daughters, so the first of these women had risen to power.

But there was a long local tradition of women sitting on the imperial throne, and the current local ruler, Jil Von Weber, reigned supreme without much opposition.

Anyway, when Lothur heard the empress' secretary authorizing him to enter Jil's office, he soon entered the place and found the empress sitting behind a desk, looking at him.

She wore a beautiful green dress with silver details; her aura was the strongest he had ever felt.
