Chapter 106. Stark factories

The weather was clear and warming.

Seth waltzed out of the Medallion's office with a look more despondent than the one he wore on his way in.

"Did the Medallion say what the poison did to you to make you lose consciousness?"

Seth gave a sardonic laugh. "Barely."

Sage frowned. "What did he say then? I still don't understand how you'll get poisoned and have so side effects or traceable symptoms."

"I don't know," Seth said. "They can't tell whether it's still in my body or not either."

Sage lowered herself into the seat in the waiting room area and pressed both her fists into her closed eyes.

Everything was a mess. 

Sage brushed a strand of hair from her eyes while talking.

"This is too much. We can't even keep the media in the dark for too long."

She touched her braid and her flawless face. She's supposed to be the epitome of a perfect royal but now in the face of so much difficulty, she can barely think up a solution.
