Blake rubbed his thumb over my hand as he watch as the trees pass by. It has been a few minutes after we left the woods to introduce Blake to my mom and the pack. In all honesty, I'm not quite sure what Blake and I were now.
Friends. Friends with benefits. Boyfriends.
My cheeks flushed a tint of pink at the last thought. I'm sure we have to get there sometime in the future and then again Blake's pretty uptight about this homo thing. Heck, even I'm not comfortable being labeled as gay or bi. I always saw myself as straight as a freaking pole. And I know Blake saw himself as that as well.
My attention soon drifted back to Blake who gave my hand a light squeeze. He sure is making progress on expressing his feelings. Well, when it comes to me that is. I squeezed his hand in response as his lips curled into a smile.
"Sorry to disturb your cuddle time but we're already here." Zephyr called from the driver's seat. Blake instinctive pulled out from our intertwined hands and looked out at the front window.
I could see that he's quite impressed at our humble abode. We climbed out of the car as Blake stuffed his hands inside his pockets.
"Nice pack house." Blake said as he admired the large building in front of us. Zephyr can't help but cackle a laugh that made Blake snap at his direction. "Found something funny?" He growled.
Blake shot him a glare at the tone he used and Blake just glared back with much intensity. I rubbed my temples and sighed.
"That's the garage, Blake. The pack house' ove-" Blake snapped his head at me with disbelief in his face. "What?"
"Are you joking, Storm? That's a garage?" He points at the building and I just nod with an amused look in my face.
"Damn." Blake cussed as he checked the building again before turning his gaze back at me. "Who really are you?"
I shrugged. "I'm Aries Storm. You already know that Blake."
He approached me with a scowl in his face. "Well, that's how much I know about you. You being an Alpha wolf after a few hours ago." He traced his eyes at mine as he tried to dominate me with his presence.
"What do you want to know?" I offered. "Since you barely know me..." I continued as Blake eyed me as if I was lying or something.
"Let's start with your intentions. What am I really here for?" He asked. "How come I never heard of this pack?"
I was about to answer his questions when a scent caught my attention and I broke eye contact with Blake to look at the person behind him. He too turned around and looked.
"Our pack is quite small and not well known from most, Blake." The woman replied. She smiled at my direction and looked at Blake who was quite baffled by the woman's calm presence. "Oh, I'm Gale by the way, Aries' mother. Its a pleasure meeting the Alpha of the Red Fang Pack."
"Future Alpha." Zephyr coughed.
Blake went mute for a second as my mother looked at me.
"Aries, it seems you forgot to introduce us to your guest." She added as my cheeks flared up from embarrassment.
"Sorry, mother." I apologize as she gave me a warm smile as she approached me. Giving me a loving peck on my cheek before looking at Blake.
"Come on sweetheart." My mother offered as she reached out her right hand at Blake. "Your cheeks won't kiss themselves."
Blake raised an eyebrow at her as she gave him a warm smile back.
"Uh, No thanks." Blake replied as he looked down at my mother.
My lips turn into a frown at Blake's reply and was about to speak my mind when my mother retracted her hand and smiled.
"I understand Blake." She said as she looked at my direction. "I'm just happy that Aries is happy. And with that I'm happy as well." She returned to look at Blake who was wearing a blank expression. "And with that I thank you."
Blake looked over his shoulder with a scowl. "Yeah. Yeah." Was his blunt reply.
My mother motioned me to approach her and when I did, she clasps my hand with hers with a smile.
"Sweetheart you should show our guest inside." She said as Blake scans the area with narrowed eyes and a scowl still painted on his lips.
I nod and reached out to grab Blake's hand at which he swiftly retracted from my touch. Oh, I forgot he's still not used to public touching especially with a guy.
I jerked my head towards the direction of the pack house and he followed suit with Zephyr and the other pack members behind.
I heaved a defeated sigh and hung my shoulders as I took side glances at Blake's direction.
He was still wearing that disapproving scowl on his face as he tried to avert his gaze away from me every time our eyes would meet.
His expression soon changed when we arrived at a large white building across the clearing.
A smirk ran through my lips as I slowly side step towards him. I know its childish but I can't help it when I see him.
"Not a word, Storm." Blake said with his scowl still plastered in his lips.
I nodded as recklessly wrapped my arm around his neck. Blake instinctively growled at me as he bare his canines. Everyone else started glaring at Blake and ready to pounce.
I raised my hand to stop them from lunging in at him as I continued to look into Blake's crimson red eyes.
It was full of feral intent and ferocity that I almost forgot that he was still Blake.
"Blake. Calm down." I started as his breathing steadies while I slowly removed my arm around his neck. "It's just me, Blake."
I tried to smile at him but he quickly shoved me to the ground. I heard the earth shook once my back collided with the soil.
"No!" I snapped at everyone's mind as they were about to jump over Blake. "I got this." I heard them reason out but I held firm and they back off a few steps back.
"Blake listen. I'm sorry." I apologized as he growled at me. I could feel my canines barring out but I held the urge to snap Blake's neck like a twig. "Blake whatever you're mad about I'm sorry!"
I was holding both the urge to kill him and asking for an apology from colliding that I might do something that I'll regret later.
"God dammit Blake! Just tell me what's wrong with you!" I yelled at him as he backs off and looked at me with a surprised glare.
"Just shut the fuck up Storm." Blake growled as he remained on top of me. He looked at the growling pack members who are shooting daggers at him and growled back.
I can't help but sigh a relief that Blake didn't go feral and ripped everyone's throats out including myself.
"What are you smiling at Storm?" I looked up at Blake who was still glaring at me.
I can't help but smile wider. "Nothing." I replied as he look at me still unbelieving. "Well, if you should know. You're pinning me down on the ground with my pack watching you."
I don't know what ran through his mind that time but I saw his cheeks flare into a deep color of rosy red as he quickly stood up dusting his pants.
I followed suit and patted my pants as well. Blake stuffed his hands into his pant's pocket and scowled at me, his cheeks still light pink but it seems the others didn't notice.
I won't add insult to injury as Blake is easily angered. So no touchies as much as possible, specially in public.
"Come on in. Mother is waiting." I called out to him. This time opening the door with my right hand as to avoid touching him.
Blake walked pass me with that scowl in his face as the rest of my pack followed suit as I followed Blake inside.
"You can wait here at the living room - " I point to the large hall in in the house as he surveys the place. "- or you stay at my room f-"
Blake snaps his head at me with a growl.
"Don't get in my pants Storm. I don't swing that way." He gritted his teeth as he invited himself to the living room and sat at one of the sofas.
I pursed my lips leaned over the wall and looked at the two surprised females who are looking at me. I gave them a warm smile and they went on their way.
I bit my lips and took a peek at Blake from the corner of my eye who was checking out one of the pack's females.
Nice one Storm. Really nice one. That was a hell of a first impression! And now the pack will surely like him!
I seethed my teeth as I brought my thumb over my lips. The thought of my pack disapproving my affections for Blake came running into my mind.
Why did I even fell for a guy like him?
