Green: Not According to Plan

He said to meet him at the mall and I should wear something comfortable so I wore my plaid green polo tee and some grey jeans as I slipped into my black rubber shoes but the pack, especially the females, wouldn't allow me to go out for my date dress in rags as they eloquently put it.

So it took me a couple of hours for the girls to be satisfied of my clothes I'm wearing that they let me go. Now I'm standing at the nearby famous clothing store as I wait for Blake to arrive as I groan in frustration as I fidget at the stares that i'm getting at the people from the mall.

I'm maybe an Alpha and all but I don't like attention that much. I glance at my watch and it's past 15 minutes already and Blake wasn't in sight. I grimaced at the thought that he might have gotten cold feet about the date. I was about to call him when I remembered we haven't exchanged numbers yet.

Another stare from another young couple shoots at me as they pass by and I quickly raised my left hand as I covered my face. Where the damn is he?

The mall's filled with too much perfumed people that I can't even pick up Blake's scent. I should scan for his thoughts at the mall but the dirty signals that people where shooting at me kept blocking my range. So, I tucked my right arm on my side as I kept covering half my face from the people around.

When suddenly my back bumped into someone quite hard and felt the force push us both apart. I quickly turned around to apologize when I saw the most seductive crimson eyes that my green ones had laid on. Blake arrived and I'd be damned if I find him sexy in his black collared shirt at which the sleeves been neatly folded up to his elbow. My eyes raked down to his black slacks that hugged his well sculpted legs nicely. I felt him checking me out that I returned to look back into his lust filled eyes. He had his black hair combed backwards with a few strands draping in the middle but it quite suited him or made him even sexier.

"Hey." I called as he seemed to break from the trance he was having as he averted his eyes as his cheeks light up to a faint tint of red.

"Hey." He answered back as he returned his gaze at me. "Uhm... Sorry, for being late." He fidgeted and looked down at his shoes before looking back at me. "Mom was being an ass about my hair. I hope I didn't kept you waiting."

I smiled at him and shook my head.

"The wait's worth it." And I saw him blush deeper and did that made more appealing. I licked my lips seductively as I ran my hand over the collar of his shirt, watching his adam's apple bob nervously. "What now?"

"Flowers!" He shot as I raised an eyebrow at him as he pulled a bouquet of white lilies at me. "I mean flowers for you." He smiled as he handed me the flowers and I reached out my bouquet of red roses to him.

"I got you flowers also." I said as I held his in my free hand as he grabbed mine and admired it. "I have an inkling you will be doing this so I decided to get you one as well. I'm sure as hell that I'm not going to be the girl in this date!" I smirked and he grinned.

"Ass." He glared at me playfully as he suddenly growled at the group of females that passed by. "Bitches." He said between seethed teeth.

"You're the one that they're checking out, you know." I said as I gave him a light pat on his chest with the back of my hand as he looked at me confused. "I can read minds remember."

"I thought you don't usually do that." He mused as he looked at me with a smug smirk tugged on his lips. "Aren't you supposed to be the goody good boy ?"

"I'm just making sure they won't try to seduce my date." I smirked and Blake rests the bouquet of roses on his right shoulder as he looked at the giant wall clock in the middle of the mall as he returned his gaze back at me.

"How about we get to dinner? I'm sure you are starving." He asked.

"Sounds good. Where do you have in mind?" I asked as he looked up.

"Er... It's a surprise." His lips tugged a nervous grin as walked in front of me then paused to look back at me with his hand outstretch. I looked at his hand and back at him as I beamed a smile. But when I reached out and touch his fingers, Blake immediately pulled his hand back making me shot a confused look at him. He averted his eyes away from me with the feeling of guilt.

And it dawned in me at the previous conclusions and my expression softened as I walked besides him with a smile. He tucked his free hand inside his pants quickly when I approached but I didn't mind. Blake can take his time and tonight I was happy that he decided to go on a date with me. Even though, technically he's the one taking me out.

"It's alright." I said reassuringly and Blake looked to his shoulder with guilt.

"No!" He snaps at me and rudely grabbed my free hand in his and I can't help but blush at the gesture he made. "This is a date and we're holding hands." He scowled though I could feel him shaking.

"It's fine Blake. You don't have to do this if you feel uncomfortable. Besides didn't you say that you don't like -" I reasoned with him but he glared at me as he pulled me roughly through the mall.

"I know what I said." He said still pulling me as we pass people who are staring at our joined hands and bouquets of flower on our individual hands. "And this is what I want now. So stick with it! We're on a date for crying out loud, Aries. So suck up and be a man."

I shook my head at Blake's outburst but he's right. And wait, did he just called me Aries? We stopped in front of Romanos, a five star restaurant that serves cuisine from all around the globe.

"We're eating here?" I shot him a questioning look and he glared back at me before panic ran through his face.

"You don't like it here." He deadpanned as he tried to sound demanding but I could see he was panicking inside at my answer.

"I didn't say that." I shook my head as I smiled at him. "I'm just surprised that you managed to get a reservation here."

"I can definitely can afford a place like this. You're not the only one who cash." He snorted and I I just rolled my eyes as we went to the attendant of the guest lists.

The man paused and looked at us before smiling at Blake who just looked at him with a blank expression.

"A pleasant evening to you Mister Fang. Are you having dinner here tonight with - " The man greeted Blake before looking at me before returning back to Blake who was glaring daggers at him now. "-your friend."

"Yeah, Harper. So if you can get us a table now. So we can eat." He growled as Harper looked at the list in front of him and looked back at Blake with a worried expression painted on his face.

"Uhm... I'm afraid Mister Fang but your name isn't on the list." Harper said and Blake lets go of my hand as he slammed it in front of the shaking attendant.

"What do you mean, my name's not on the list?! I just made a reservation this morning." He growled as the man trembled in fear. "You better check that damn list again or I'll have your head in a plate! Hear that Harper!" The attendant nodded and scanned the list over and over again and I assume he couldn't find Blake's name.

"Calm down Blake." I looked at Blake who was fuming in anger as I saw the roses wilting from extreme heat. "It's alright. We could eat somewhere else, I don't mind. Just come down." I pressed my hand over his shoulder but Blake shook it off.

"So-!" Blake growled as Harper shook his head in fear.

Blake gritted his teeth and raised his fist but I immediately grabbed it forcefully as he glared at my direction. He shook for awhile then I pushed him back as I stood in front of Harper and crossed my arms.

"Damn it, Fang!" I growled at him as I tried to control myself and my wolf from gripping his throat and choke him to death. "Calm down. There's no point on getting mad about simple things like this! God!"

Blake was about to retort but I gave him a menacing growl for him to stop pushing it and he averted his eyes away from me and growled and walked away. I looked back at the frightened Harper and asked for an apology and chased Blake.

He stopped when he felt I was behind him and I saw him ran his hand over his hair. The roses from his bouquet where almost barren and dry and they almost lost all their hue. I looked at Blake once again and he was now facing me apologetically.

"About lashing you back there." He started, pausing for a second as he seems to find the right words. "It was not - I didn't mean it ... I was just caught in my range that -"

I slapped my bouquet at his head lightly as he shot me a confused glare. A smirk ran through my lips as I shook my head as I rest the flowers on my free hand admiring the beauty of the lilies before returning my gaze at Blake who's expression also softened.

"Sorry." He said sincerely and I rolled my eyes. "What?!"

"Hot head." I teased and he bumped his fist over my head with narrowed eyes and pouting lips.

"I said I'm sorry, dumb ass." He retorted and we burst into laughter.

People continued to stare at two teens with flowers in each hand laughing in the middle of the mall but Blake and I ignore them. I don't care and the world can suck it up. Blake's right, I need to loosen up and take the moment as is. We stopped laughing and paused to look at each others eyes when our stomachs growled just to ruin the moment.

" Sorry." We said in unison and we cracked a few chuckles before Blake looked around the mall.

"You good with fast food?" Blake asked unsure as I shrugged.

"Anything's good to be honest with you." I replied and he hanged his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. I was surprised at first but just let Blake do his thing as I hanged my arm around his shoulder, pulling his head closer to mine. "And besides, you still need to feed me on this date, Fang!"

I smirked and he grinned as we walked towards the nearest fast food chain in the vicinity and didn't mind the stares people are shooting at us. They can all go and suck up their asses for all I care!
