Red: Decision

"Fuck!" Aries groans as I pressed him against the tree. "It feels weird, Bl-Blake..." He croaked as I slithered my tongue through his scrumptious hole. I thought I was going to be repulsed by the thought of sticking my tongue near a poop hole but once I got a quick taste of the pink budding flower behind Aries I got hooked instantly. I grabbed his perfect mounds and spread his cheeks wider apart as I dig deeper into his twitching hole. To make matters worse I'm getting hard again by hearing him moan erotically. "I'm cl-close..." He moans and that didn't deter me from consuming his ass like a hungry beast that I am. He shook and leaned forward as his body sags towards the trunk. I took one final look at the puffy hole and licked my lips. We'll definitely be doing this soon.

"You taste good." I nibbled on his left ear while he hummed in response.

"I thought you said it was repulsive." He turns around and started kissing my lips lightly.

"I did." I agreed as I devoured his lips violently. Mixing my essence and his in our mouths. "But somehow, it didn't. I could be accustomed to this gay shit we've been doing lately..." I grinned bewteen our lips. I don't know if it's the non-existent mate pull or my attraction to Aries that made these whole series of odd experiences enjoyable. I bet it had to be the latter.

"I told you." He grins back. I can't help but be mesmerized by the bright green eyes Aries had. They seem to mirror his soul, pure and trusting.

"Yeah. No need to rub it in." I groan but smiled anyways as he cups my chin with his fingers.

"How are your the wounds?" He asked.

"Sore but all are healed." I state and quickly shot him a incredulous look. "Did you just made us do all that stuff just to take my mind off them?" He just smirks at me. "You sly dog."

"Well you're part of the blame as well." He smirks as we pull apart as we heard rustling amongst the grass. "Curse your pheromones. Now your scent's all over me."

"Get over it." I swat his ass playfully earning a slight growl from the young Alpha. "Your old man's not going to know a thing. Unless you know, when he does." Aries pinches the bridge of his nose as he shook his head.

"That's so reassuring, Blake." The sarcasm was so thick in that tone. But I just let it slide.

It has been a few hours since we left the two geezers talk things out. You know get all misunderstandings out off the way and talk things out. We were quite considerate as well as we decided to stay quite a distance away from them to give them privacy. That and the alone time with Aries was not specifically included.

From afar we saw two human shaped figures approaching from the distance. I gave a sigh of relief that they decided to shift and not growl while in wolf form. I mean what problems will that fix.

A murderous and unsettling feeling enveloped me as those two figures approached. From a distance they seem to be walking apart and not even talking to each other. And that made me look at Aries who seems to noticed the heavy atmosphere from the two as they near us. They don't seem to act like mate's that haven't seen each other in a long time or at least showed a bit of emotion. My old man was scowling even more as he kicked a stone roughly to the side before he ran his hand over his black locks. Aries' dad wasn't that furious looking but I known better. A quiet mate is the most pissed off mate.

His eyes were still had that hazy white over them but a slight tint of green could be seen once the light reflected on it. Now seeing him this time made me admire the man before me. He had a well kept body after all this years and could easily be mistaken to be around his late twenties or early thirties. That prominent scar running across his chest made me curious how he got it but if ignored would add to his oddly attractiveness.

He walked towards our direction without batting an eye over my old man. Aries breath hitched causing me to grab his trembling hand. I intertwined our fingers together providing him the comfort he needs. I glare at the man standing before us. His gaze looked at our entwined hands before turning to look at Aries. The man's eyes started to swell before he wraps his arms Aries into a hug. He buried his face over my mate's hair and takes in his scent.

"I've missed you so much! What a fine man you've grown." Stephen sobbed as he looked down at his own son with pride nestling over his dull eyes. "My son, Aries. Words can't describe how glad to see you after all these years. I'm so happy."

Aries stood as his father hugged him tightly. I guess he doesn't know how to react or do when confronted by this certain scenario. He just looks down when met by his father's eyes.

"Aye. Say something." I coaxed as Stephen quickly looked at me. Aries breath hitched as if I broke him from his trance and he started to look up at the older man.

"So-sorry..." He apologize. Stephen looked at him and clasped his shoulder while shaking his head.

"You don't need to be son." Stephen smiles. "I do understand how you felt... It takes some time to swallow it all in. And besides I'm the one who should be sorry."

Aries shook his head and wrapped his arms around his father's back. Stephen's lips trembled and tears started to pour from his eyes.

"I've missed you dad." Aries croaked.

"I've missed you too, son. But I did hope I would be called papa by my boy." He chuckles as Aries laughs back.

"That would feel weird calling you that now." Aries smirk as he looks over at me with Stephen trailing along. "Dad, I think you met Blake."

He scowls at me as if I'm something he didn't want to see. I scowled at him whilst glaring.

"Lance' son I assume." He spoke before returning his gaze at my mate.

"Uhm, yes..." Aries confirms while throwing me a confused look.

"So how's Gale?" He ignored me and guided Aries towards the shade.

"Mom's doing great dad. The pack's actually doing good." Aries states as Stephen nods. He then stops and looked at me.

"You're not coming?" He asked and I point a finger at my self while turning to look at my old man. "Yes you Blake." He chuckles and turns to look at Aries. "Is your mate that dense...?"

"I could hear you." I growl and Stephen just chuckles.

"Sorry, Blake." Stephen apologizes as he reaches out and pats my shoulder. "I didn't mean to call you that."

"It's fine I guess." I groan and followed them as I glanced over my old man who was sulking over the edge of a stump while cussing under his breath. I guess he and Stephen hasn't patched up anything yet. I hate to be in his shoes right now.

"I see you two haven't marked each other yet." Stephen states as he looks over our exposed necks with a frown. "After smelling like sex, you two didn't even tried to mark each other."

"Dad." Aries groans as I glared at Stephen. "We're getting to that part... It's just we are just testing the waters..."

"I see." He ponders as he looks at me. "Blake, I have to apologize on whatever I did to you this past few days." He apologizes making me look at him surprised.

"You don't even know what you did?" I ask curiously. "Don't you?" Stephen look at me surprised as well before shaking his head.

"Know what?" Aries asked confused.

"Er... I don't know..." I trailed when I heard varies growl.

"Blake." He crosses his arms as he glared at me. Stephen looked at me with pity.

"You're dad kind of kidnapped me this past few days..." I started and Aries looked surprised. "Also, he kinda, sorta kissed me on one of those days." I squirmed slowly while gauging his reaction. "But he didn't do more..."I quickly added. "He was nice on most parts..."

"I didn't know..." Stephen looked utterly surprised as he looked at me, his eyes looking at the ground before turning to look at Aries. "Son, it's not Blake's fault. I know I don't know most of it. The memory is quite foggy but I would apologize. It may not be enough reason for what I've done but I'm truly sorry."

"Dad, I ..." Aries looks at his old man with concern in his eyes.

"Damn." Stephen pressed his right palm over his forehead with a scowl. "Until lately, I haven't... Everything is so unclear, muddy black... I haven't been myself. Until, I saw Lance..." Stephen states making me grimaced at the thought. "...the memory was ..." He scowls as he balled up his fists. "I'm mad that I can't remember things that I should've. Doing things I shouldn't... I -"

Stephen suddenly dropped the ground with a thud. His left cheek bruised and blood were bleeding from his lips. We looked at him shocked as he looked as stunned as we were.

"Fucking stop dwelling in things in the past!" My old man growls as he raises his fist. I didn't even noticed him move from his spot or hear him approach us. But one things certain, he was not happy. He pushes pass us and glares at the man on the ground. "And stop feeling sorry for yourself. Man up and face them head on! Or do I have to beat your fucking face!" He growls.

"Fucking hell, old man." I shoved him as Aries helps his father up. My old man glares at me.

"This doesn't concern you." He snaps as he shoves me back. "He's mine. So don't butt in, pup."

"Lance, calm down." Aries glares at my old man and crosses his arms. "Watch what you're doing to my father and mate."

"Aries. Please, I deserved this." Stephen clasped his son's shoulder before looking at his mate with a stern look in his eyes. "Lance. I appreciate what you did. But I would like to apologize as well."

"Apologize for wha-" My old man's face turns with the sound of bones breaking as he staggered backwards before hitting the dirt with his ass.

"For this." Stephen pulls his fist from its current position. Both Aries and I looked at him like he was crazy.

"The fuck!" Lance held his nose to stop the obvious bleeding as he shoot daggers at Stephen. "You fucking piece of shit!"

"That's for punching me in the face." He growls before blinking slowly and looking back and forth with confusion laced in his eyes. "What just happened?"

"You just punched ..." Aries starts but pauses half way, debating whether to tell his father that he just knock my old man's ass from hitting him in the face. "Does this happen to wolves who've gone rogue?" His eyes looks dejected as he looks between his father and mine.

"What do you mean, son?" Stephen asked as he noticed my old man standing with a bloodied nose at which his eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Did I just do that?" He looked over at me and then at Aries as he avoids looking at the Alpha that's been throwing venomous glares at his direction. Aries just nods as I smirked in response. "Damn. I can't remember." He placed his right hand over his head with a sigh.

"This looks serious." I state as I looked at Aries. "How long have you've been experiencing this?" I looked at Stephen and he winced as he tried to recall.

"I guess for long time... My last memories that I could remember were..." He shifted his eyes slowly from looking at us and the ground before he winced once again. "When I had a confrontation with ... Isaac."

"Isaac?" Aries asked.

"You don't mean..." I gasp at the thought as I looked at my old man. He was seething mad as evident by how his canines were prominent through his clenched teeth. It confirmed it. This Isaac was my grandfather, the previous Alpha, my old man's father himself. Mom had told me about how he despise the thought of male wolves having male partners. And it had to be difficult for him to accept when his own son was mate's to one as well.

"He said things I shouldn't ..." Stephen trailed off as he grimaced as his other hand unconsciously trace the long, prominent scar over his chest. "Yet I believed him. I tried to think it logically, even hoping that I was wrong. But..." He glares at my old man with a vengeance. "I was a fool."

"Don't you fucking dare look at me like that, Stephen!" My old man snaps as he points a finger at Aries' father. "I'm not the one who faked his own death and ran away!"

"Faked my own death!" Stephen couldn't believe what my old man just said out loud. "You know nothing, Lance! We already tried discussing things and it didn't do anything!" Stephen fumes as he ran his hand over his hair furiously. "I guess your father was right after all! It was wrong for us to have met in the first place!"

"Don't you pull that fucking card over my damn face, Stephen!" My old man growls as he balls his hands into fists. "You're the one who doesn't want to put things behind us!"

"Fuck you! Don't go high and mighty at me, you asshole! You're the first one who decided that I was nothing to you!" Stephen growled as steps forward as my old man meets him halfway. Both Aries and I moved back cautiously as we could feel the dangerous blood lust radiating from our fathers. "I can remember now how you ..."

"You motherfucking piece of shit! Don't you fucking put words in my mouth and think you know freaking everything!" My old man growls as shoves Stephen roughly. At which the other Alpha didn't took it lightly and shoved my old man back harder.

"Well, if you're still half the man you say you are, I wouldn't have too!" Stephen barked and my breath hitched. There's one thing that my old man doesn't want to be question is his manliness. As an Alpha I could clearly understand but standing before him was an Alpha that I can tell was at par with my father and taking that blow from him sure gave a large bruise on his ego.

"What did you just fucking say?!" My old man snaps as he instantly grabbed Stephen's neck and began to choke the Alpha. "I fucking dare you to say that to my face again, you piece of shit."

I stood there unable to do anything, even Aries who wanted to jump up and attack my old man seems to have frozen in place. The fight between to Alphas was nothing we couldn't intervene. So we just watched helplessly on the sidelines. Hoping they won't slit each others throats or worst, rip each other's limbs...

"What?! That you're a sorry excuse for an Alpha." Stephen sneers as my old man's grip tightens even but the blonde alpha just seem to not care. "You've gone soft, Lance. Normally you could choke me in just one grip." My old man growled and raised his hand over his face causing Stephen to be suspended over the ground.

"You're testing my patience." The raven haired Alpha threatens. "I can easily break your neck like it was nothing." He narrows his eyes at Stephen before the worst thing flashed before my mind. I instinctively shut my eye at the expected assault but it didn't came. I slowly open my eyes to see that Stephen had my old man's arm lock in his grip. Aries and I didn't even saw anything that fast before. How he pried himself free from my old man's hold on his neck and turn the tables in a flash.

"Don't you dare test me as well." Stephen growls as he threw his hold off on my old man's arm abruptly and started turning his back on him. "I should have known this was a mistake. Talking to you. Hoping everything would be alright..." He scoffs and stops. "I'm a rogue now, Lance. It's much worst than being with me 19 years ago. So, you better be happy I'm letting you free..." With that he immediately shifted into his wolf and dashes through the distance.

"The fuck you're going to run away again..." My old man snaps and started to move forward. Until both Aries and I stood before him. "Get out the fucking way, motherfuckers! That fool needs to be..."

"Lance." Aries growls. "Just stay here and cool yourself down. I'll talk to my father. It's clear that both of you two have things unsettled yet and need to talk it out... But not in this state." He looks at me and I nod.

"Go. I'll take care of him." I state and Aries immediately shifted into his wolf and dashes after his father. I on the other hand glares at my old man who looks at the direction of his mate has gone with a unreadable expression. He turns to look at me with a glare and walks towards the shade. I looked at him surprising calm after this.

"You stink..." He growls lowly as we reached the shade as he plops down on his ass on the ground and leaned against the trunk with his eyes close.

"The fuck do you care." I snap.

"Just. Just leave me alone, Blake." My old man sighs. "I'm not in the mood to entertain your shits." I crossed my arms and huffed.

"Whatever, old man." I growl. "But I'm not leaving you alone. You're messed up. I mean who argues with their mate after not seeing them for a long time." I rolled my eyes as he leans away at my direction. "You apparently."

"Shut up." He growls. His breathing harsh and erratic as if he's catching his breath or is fuming mad.

I pursed my lips. I don't want to bruise an already beaten dog. It's clear my old man had things he clearly doesn't want to talk about. Mostly, about his mate.

I looked at the direction of that both wolves had gone through and saw no sign of them as their scents fading in the air. I sighed and took the other side of the tree and sat opposite of my old man. He was quiet.

"What happened?" I asked and he didn't replied so I tried again. "Aries and I talk things out when we have things that are bothering us. It helps clear our minds out." I paused before taking a deep breath. "Helps the both of us understand each other better. We might not agree on mostly everything but we talk things through and that helps. After all we cared enough for each other to try..." I state.

"Don't you think I don't know that." I heard my old man growl. His tone pained and rough. "Stephen and I were like you two. We argue alot. It's just natural because we're both Alphas and submitting to someone is not an easy thing to do." He states as I turned my head towards his direction. "We would call names. Have endless arguments for months. Even petty fights over anything and everything like him eating my last chip or me constantly comparing him to my previous girlfriends." He chuckles at the thought and I could see clearly was head over heels over his man. "Life between us was chaos. And yet... I found it that I like it. How incomplete I was without him."

"Then why did you..." I can't help but ask.

"I don't fucking know." He grimaced. "I sometimes do things that I regret later on. And denying him when Ethel got pregnant with you was one of those things." He ran his hand over his face before continuing. "I've never seen myself as gay or bi in anyway, Blake. If I'm concerned, I'm still fucking straight as a pole. I always just blame that my obsessive attraction I had with Stephen was just something mates have. A law of nature that we cannot control. A force that, no matter what, is just there to be followed." He paused for a moment before shuffling in his seat. "I was wrong."

"Wrong? Isn't just what being mate's are for?" I asked but deep inside I knew it was different. Aries and I were different. He always say that we were no longer mates after we rejected each other. But somehow, I feel no different about him. And frankly, the times we spend together after the rejection seems less forced, less cliché for some reason.

"Wrong that I just liked Stephen because we were just mates." My old man states with a sad smile on his lips. "I came to have feelings for him each time we spent together. I've learned that it wasn't gender that attracts you to a person. It was their soul. And my Stephen is one magnificent soul." He exaggerates before turning serious "And I'm quite sure you're not going to spill anything to anyone once we're done here." The threat in his voice was real. "Especially, to the pompous windbag, Stephen."

"You need to express yourself more." I snickered. "It might help you wooing your mate. Being a stiff board won't get you anywhere. Believe me, I've tried."

"How quaint. I'm given advice from a wolf that haven't mated nor marked their mate yet." My old man jests but I can't help but growl at him. "Hope your mate calms him down."

"I'm sure he will. After, he needs to listen to his son after all." I state. "Uhm, could I ask you a question?" I trailed off.

"If it's sex just do what you normally do with one of your bitches." He scoffs. "Or if you're the one on the receiving end, at which I fucking hope you don't, just relax. The pain's just temporary."

"And you know this, how?" I shot him a raised brow.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He growls at me causing me to snicker at him.

"Alright, I'll drop it." I raised my hand in surrender before leaning back. "But seriously, there's something I need to know."

"Just fucking ask." He rolls his eyes.

"Stephen." I started causing him to look at me seriously.

"What about him?" My old man scowls.

"About him going rogue. I know this is personal but I need to know." I state. "The man is my mate's father. So , I feel responsible seeing you're his mate as well." I trailed before he slaps my head roughly.

"Get to the point already." He growls while I rub the sore spot while glaring at him.

"Can an Alpha actually go insane from rejection?" I finally asked and he just leans back with a sigh.

"Yes."

"I thought -" I started before biting my pointer finger. "Does that mean you rejection your bond with -"

"Yes..." He answers causing me to look at him surprised. "I don't know if your mother told you this but when my father found out that Ethel was pregnant with me and asked if she was my mate, I panicked. One thing I don't want my father to know about Stephen and me, I also don't want you to be disowned and Ethel exiled from the pack." He looks down. "I admitted that Ethel was my mate and denied the fact that Stephen was somehow in a romantic relationship with me after he showed me some photos of us off state."

"How did Stephen know?" I asked.

"My father." He gritted his teeth in hatred. "He called him and left the phone open for him to listen to our conversation. I didn't know anything until now." My old man had his eyes flaring with hatred. "And what's worse, I caused him his life after my father set me up. Knowing I will try to reconcile with Stephen." He buried his face over his hands as he continued. "I led my mate to his death."

"How did you-"

"Stephen told me..." My old man groans. "Worse of all, I had to see from his own perspective... I felt like I betrayed him on purpose. The words my father spoke still flashed before my eyes as he looked down at my mate as he was dying." I shiver on how cold his tone was. "Lance' never loved you."

And with that my heart sunk and my sympathy for my old man grew as he stares blankly at the horizon. Eyes ablaze with pain and hatred. He was robbed of a happy life with his mate and now has to see his mate suffer from his actions.

"Do you know that there's no cure when a wolf when they already gone rogue." My old man laughs but there was no humor in his tone. "The longer they live, the less they become human. They will lose all memories as they fully become blood thirsty beasts that I we usually kill." He looks down at his hands as if he was envisioning something horrific.

"That's not true." I couldn't believe it myself. "There's must be a cure."

"I still hope there is." My old an balls his fists and leans back. "I need to believe there's still hope that somewhere out there... I need to be strong for the both of us."

"I'm sure Stephen will be glad when you tell him that." I look at him encouraging. "So you both can be strong together."

"Stephen already has given up." He states and my heart broke.

"What?!"

"We already discussed it." He croaks. "He said he was already searching for a cure on the day he new he was going insane."

"Fuck him! You need to be able to -"

"He's the one who proposed we never meet again. Think of him as dead." My old man started to have an uneven tone in his voice yet he tried so hard to sound composed. "Never to look back and live a happy life with what I have right now." Years were now starting to flow from his eyes. He was fighting back whatever control he had on his emotions. "He fucking said he was happy that I was still alive and that his son has grown up into a great Alpha. Happy that you were his mate and could see a better for his son than we two will ever have." He buries his face over his hands as he cried. I wrapped my arms around my father and pressed his head over my chest. "He's fucking selfish! So fucking stubborn!" He screams as started to thrash under me. "He doesn't even consult me on what I want! On what I -" he breaks down and trembles. Looking down at the proud Alpha before me and can't help but feel his agony.

The pain he was going through. I can't imagine. His mate who he knew was dead caused him to be rough throughout the years. Locking out any emotion in him, struggling to live up on what he promised Stephen. And years pass that said mate, came out to be alive and I guess, my father was happy for the first time. An emotion he might have forgotten he had until then. They meet and talked. Learned about the past and the dire horrors of the present. He was going to lose his mate, again. And in hopes that they still had a chance, my father tried to be positive for once. Knowing too well that insanity in a wolf has no cure. He tried to be strong and hoped his mate would at least share a bit of it for him. But alas, the heavy news was as the words Stephen uttered. He has given up on his life. He only wishes that my father live on, thinking that he never were alive or existed. Live out with his family and pack. Forget about him. Remain happy.

In my arms right now is no longer a ruthless Alpha of my pack. Not the emotionless killer that everyone feared or respected. Not my stoic father that never batted an eye at me or my mother. But a beaten wolf who longed for his mate. A man who found out that his only lifeline had finally decided to say his final farewell.

I held him like a exposed child as he drenched my chest with his tears. Never have I felt attachment to my father as he is right now. At his lowest, at his most vulnerable, he clings to me like he lost his will to move.

"Dad." I started as I ran my hand over his broad back. "Everything's going to be alright."

I promise.
