"If given a chance, who would you rather, Daniel or me?" Owen asked. 

"Now that's a tough one." Chugging down the leftover champagne directly from the bottle, she said, "I need some time to think."

Her Double Trouble

When Daniel and Emma arrived outside the office after lunch, they bumped into Vincent near the parking lot. 


“Daniel—” Vincent quickly approached him. When he saw a woman with Daniel, he was surprised. He had never seen him with one before. When his eyes landed on the ID card around Emma’s neck, he understood she was an employee. 


But what was Daniel doing with an employee? From what Vincent knew, he had a male assistant. This made him wonder who she was and what kind of relationship they shared. 


Not liking the way Vincent was glaring at Emma, Daniel frowned a little. He then placed his hand on her back. “Go inside first. Tell Josh to get ready for the meeting.” 


After making sure she was out of his sight, Daniel glanced at Vincent. “What is it?” 


“I wanted to talk to you about our situation.” 


“What situation?” When Vincent hesitated, he said, “I don’t have all day to waste. If there is nothing then please leave.”
