If You want to See Me, Look for Me

The flames of the fire pits were lit as soon as the sun hid behind the mountains on the other side of the lake. Cyrus had assumed his human form to keep the fires going to fend off the cold of the night. Most guards were lying down on their designated posts, left to sleep before the entire pack retired for the day. With the darkness shrouding the skies, another day had come to an end.

Inside his little shack was Dylan. There was only a piece of woven rug that served as the young Alpha's bed. In fact, Dylan really felt like this shack was just like a barn or a birdhouse. The main purpose was to shelter the wolf as they slept or when they had time to burn.

"I can't have a fire going inside the shack. Do you want me to leave the curtain open?" Cyrus walked in while assuming his wolf form. He could walk in here without changing, but with someone else inside, he figured he shouldn't—just in the name of modesty.
