When Ilya and Sofia arrived at the highest floor of the castle, they saw how the ever-burning body of the Luminescent King was using his green flames to fight against the powerful burst of another dragon. There was also another spider at the side, but she was holding onto three of her severed legs.

"Ignis! Lumen!" Upon recognizing the two people, Ilya called them out of shock. He just met Cleo downstairs; how come these two were here to fight off the Luminescent King… and the Frost King's crest? They were the ones trying to take it away?

"They're out." Lumen, the spider general, laughed at the arrival of the two vampires. Ignis then made a burst with his flames to deflect the Luminescent King's attack. Before the other could return fire, the spider spat blankets of her white threads to shroud all of them.
