Like the Others that had Gone Away

Needless to say, Rica was shocked. She even felt the moment that the winds blew on her as if inscribing his words on her soul. Then again, she didn't want to think of Enzo as a servant. She just chuckled and went to hold his shoulders and pulled him up as if making him straighten his back. No words escaped her, but she still had a smile on her face.

She just stepped closer and hugged Enzo as if it would help her calm down. However, that night, it seemed that she felt his embrace differently—one that she liked better.

"It's already getting colder. Let's go home. I had so much wine at the party that I can feel my hangover coming. I think I still have some Gator juice in the fridge." Rica pulled away from him and led him by the hand, hoping that the fantasies would stop then and there, so they wouldn't run out.
