Dinner had come to a delightful end for Feng Tian and Xiao Tang, who were both in high spirits. Long Yi, however, found it challenging to enjoy the meal due to the disconcerting intensity of Meng Nian's gaze, which seemed to be locked onto him.

Feng Tian, noticing the lateness of the hour, suggested that it was time for her to depart. But Xiao Tang was insistent, imploring her to stay with him for the night.
