Tongyao's courage

At the mention of Han Ke Ming's name, Feng Tian raised her head and her finely arched eyebrow rose inquisitively.

"What about him?" She queried, her keen and inquisitive gaze locked on the female who hesitated for a moment, the pregnant air that hung in the air adding sharpness to the tension brewing.

"D-director Han–" Tongyao hesitated for a moment, aware of the colossal implications that her words might bring if she's unable to back them up properly. She swallowed hard, her gaze fixed on a nondescript spot on the floor.

Eventually, Tongyao managed to summon all the courage she needed, and with a deep breath, she then began.

"Miss Feng, I apologize if I sound too forward." Tongyao started, her internal struggle palpable.

Feng Tian's penetrating gaze didn't waver as she leaned forward, gesturing to her to continue.

"Miss Feng, these few weeks in your absence. The company…things have not been going well." Tongyao admitted.
