Ch18- You? A bookworm?

"Naruto Uzumaki! Come down here this instant!"

"Oi, what did you do this time?"

"Well my dear little siblings, I hid all of our big sis' underwear. It's spread all over the house."

"... you do realize that big sis is gonna kill you?"

As he listened to his younger Uchiha siblings, Naruto's eyes suddenly widened as he remembered the last time they made her angry. It was hard to make her angry in the first place, but she was worse than the devil if they did.

Meanwhile, Agusa and Ashika only sweat dropped at their sibling's stupidity, which always got him into trouble.

"I'm sorry... I'll never do it again. *sniff* "

"You better be. Now get your siblings and eat breakfast. I'll train you later since you don't have to go to the academy today."

Not only Naruto but also Agusa and Ashika could only curse themselves for asking Nozomi to train them. Every time she did, she would have that sadistic grin on her face, making them wish to never have gotten to know her.

Sometimes Naruto even asked himself if it was worth living with her. Truly a deal with the devil. He gained a family but sold his soul in exchange.

"When will Namaki and Namiko be back? They are already gone for two weeks.

"They are still on a mission, Naruto. You have to remember that both of them are Jonin now and as such are at least doing B-rank missions. Since this one is an A-rank one it will take them probably a month. So wait patiently while you continue training your chakra control."

It hadn't been that long since the Uchiha massacre and both Agusa and Ashika were now 5 years old, while Naruto was close to his 9th birthday.

Both Uchiha had decided to stay with Nozomi even though they had been asked to be raised by an Uchiha. Even Nozomi had been pressured by the elder council, especially Danzo, to leave the children to him.

In the end, she declined and had to fend off multiple teams of assassins in the upcoming months until it finally calmed down with the mastermind thinking that they were being protected by the Hokage.

In the last 4 years, Nozomi had learned a lot more about herself. She had figured out what anger was since it was a feeling similar to being annoyed, just more intense. She had also begun to care about her adopted children. While Naruto had debated calling her mom, he had not done so in the end and had switched from Aunty to Big sis. The main reason for that were the Uchiha twins, who could still remember their parents and as such were uncomfortable with calling her mom. Finally, they decided to call her and the others Big sis', which plastered a smile on Nozomi's face even if she didn't yet understand, why.

Naruto was still the class clown and had no friends. This was mainly because he had no experience in making them and the civilian children in his class would stay away from or bully him.

The Uchiha twins were also influenced by the hatred the people had for Naruto as they weren't very welcomed by other children since no one knew they were like Sasuke, an Uchiha. Most still thought that Sasuke was the only remaining while disregarding all the other surviving ones.

Though they couldn't care less, as they had their family. Additional friends were unnecessary.

"Kakashi-sensei, isn't it forbidden to mess with the political affairs of other nations?"

"It is. This was a deal made by the nations to make sure that we, the bigger nations, can't interfere with the smaller ones. However, the presiding power in the Land of Animals is quite outspoken about their hatred of Konoha. Coupled with their continuous attempts to start a war, the Hokage ordered us to help the rebels."

"Anything we have to be careful about on this mission?"

"Yes. If we get caught doing this, we will be considered as rouge shinobi, who are doing this to take over the country. As such hiding your identity is the most important action of this mission. That's also why we left our headbands in the village, we just can't risk them being found.

Also keep in mind, that to our employer we are only a bunch of rouge-nin that took the mission from the black market. It is possible that we will not be the only ones, as such the masks on our faces."

"Stop! Why are you here and what do you want?!"

"We took the mission from the black market. We will follow your leader's orders as long as we get paid."

As they weren't the first ones, their team was quickly led to a hut, where multiple rouge shinobi were gathered.

"Thank you for coming. As you know we will pay you for helping us in our rebellion. You will be needed to fight off the shinobi, which the enemy side has, and if you can, help us with taking down their leader."

"Do we get extra money if we are the best?" asked Namaki. Since they were already getting their money like this, they could at least get the most out of it.

"If we notice, that you improve our chances tremendously you will get a hefty bonus. Now, please follow our members to your respective rooms and try not to disturb our resting forces."

The leader of the rebellion was the nephew of the current ruler, which was also the reason why he could gather so many like-minded people.

They were tired of fighting. Their country was at war almost all the time and only 25% of people managed to live beyond 15 with the rest having to lay down their lives for unnecessary battles which only took place because their Daimyo was power-hungry.

Having grown tired of living like they were in the warring state era and losing their parents, siblings, and friends, the people banded together under the banner of the Daimyo's nephew who had already built a small rebel cell.

"Kakashi-sensei, now that we are on a mission why are you still reading your porn?"

It was a mystery, similar to the 7 world wonders, how Kakashi could always read one of his books. In the many instances, where he was reading, he had to either only read one word per minute or read each of his books multiple times already. There was no way that he would always have a new book after finishing his old one as the book only had one author and it was the only series their sensei was reading.

"You need some practice, don't you? I'll help out if you can't handle it anymore."

As they were casually talking, all of them had already noticed how they were being observed but since there was no danger yet, they silently decided not to make a move.

Although their team wasn't a sensor-focused one, all of them had some abilities. Semaru had a natural advantage since he was a Hyuga and both Namaki and Namiko had trained in having at least some abilities since they didn't want to have to rely on another person.

Kakashi just had enough experience to easily sense their enemies.

Since they would alert the rest of the enemies of their abilities if they engage the team that was observing them, they decided to lure the enemy teams into a trap when they came to take care of them.

"Kakashi-sensei, if you continue being so lazy I'll spoiler each of your books and even the ones that will be published in the future."

This caused Kakashi to stumble on his feet as he turned around with his eye widened. Even Semaru and Namiko looked at Namaki with pure horror in their eyes as their eyes motioned for her to give them answers.

"And how exactly do you want to do that? You have to read them first or you won't be able to spoiler them."

Puzzled, Namaki only turned to her sensei who gave her his closed eye smile. Kakashi was interested in what she would choose. She could either give in and continue letting him read his books or she could become the very thing she swore to destroy by becoming like Kakashi and reading the book all the time where she could.

"Why? I already read them."

This time not only Kakashi, but even Semaru and Namiko stopped in their tracks as they just wordlessly stared at their fellow team member.

Kakashi couldn't believe his ears. His student, who had barely reached the age of 14 just told him he had been reading the same books which not only her but her sister too, said was porn.

"Young Lady, mind telling me how and when did you get these books!?"

After all, they even showed 18+ on the cover.

"I brought them and read them a few years ago."

This shocked them even more. It was rather normal for a 14-year-old to be interested in this genre, but someone younger than 12? Rarely. And it seemed like it had been longer than just 2 years according to how Namaki made it sound.

"Why would you even read those books?"

Looking at Semaru, who had just spoken, she made it look like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"For information of course. Don't you know that information is one of the most important aspects of a shinobi, the more you know the higher your chances to survive and complete your mission."

They were gobsmacked, they had never heard a more plausible reason for someone to read porn.

"You should do that too, it might take a while to read every book in the book store but it'll be worth it."

Thinking that he had heard her wrong, Kakashi decided to confirm it. "You don't mean to say, that you read every book in the library, do you?"

"Of course I did, I also read quite a lot of books that are sold only in other villages. That's why you sometimes find C- and D-ranked missions that are buying books from other hidden villages."

While Namaki was talking, all of their brains had already shut down. Just the sheer amount of time she had to spend reading all of that. Even Namiko was wondering when she had done so as she very rarely saw her with a book in hand.

However since they were still on a mission, they quickly regained their bearings and went on with the plan.

They made it seem that one of them would go pee in the bushes but started creating traps instead.

Both Namaki and Namiko took a lot longer as they were making quite a lot of seals and other traps, which luckily did not alarm the scouts as they just thought they had taken longer because they were girls. The disadvantage of being uninformed. If they would have had at least one female on their team, they would have noticed that they took too long to think it was normal. Ignorance.

It only took around ten minutes till close to 100 enemies had surrounded them. There were around 30 shinobi, ranging from Chunin to Genin. The others consisted of normal troops that were only there as cannon fodder.

As they got ready to fight, one of the normal troops, the captain, walked up to them, "I'll give you a chance, join us and fight the rebellion or die trying to get out of here alive!"

Even on Kakashi, one was able to see the amusement on his face.

"How dare you! Kill them and wipe that smirk off their faces! They will pay for daring to laugh at me!"

Being unable to contain his rage, the leader ordered the troops to attack, causing multiple traps to go off.

*AAARRRGG*

As Team 22 slowly readied themselves to fight, they observed as multiple enemy shinobi were trapped while close to 20 soldiers were burned alive.

Even some shinobi were unable to notice the traps early enough, especially the ones made by Namaki. Unfortunately for him, Kakashi wasn't specialized in making traps and some of them were found as such.

The worst however, was Semaru's side. He was, nicely said, hopeless with making traps. Luckily Namiko had used a few seals to enhance them, making them hard to disable even if they were quite obvious.

But for some fucked up reason, some of the enemies seemed to be oblivious about the traps and straight up walked to their deaths.

While the enemy was caught up with the traps, Namaki had already gotten ready and was weaving through the enemy troops. The normal soldiers had no chance against her and the shinobi were still busy disarming the troops.

Dodging the incoming kunai, Namiko paused her slaughter as she was interrupted by an enemy shinobi. The fact that he was here spoke of his capabilities. Most Genin wouldn't be able to break through the traps for at least another ten minutes, meaning he was at the Chunin level.

"Your traps were impressive, but I doubt a child like you will survive this battle. Even if I can't kill you, others will."

Unfortunate for him, Namiko wasn't phased by his talk and just continued concentrating on her surroundings. Suddenly multiple shurikens were thrown at her, which she easily dodged.

He had indeed tried distracting her to hit them but it didn't work.

She created a few water clones with the water of the nearby lake, confusing him where the true her was, while a few shurikens were thrown at him.

As he easily avoided them, a few suddenly turned into shadow clones and punched him straight into the ground.

Namiko had already gotten an advantage. Unlike most civilians believed, most of the flashy and powerful Jutsu were classified as B-rank, which was on a level where most experienced Chunin could only use a very limited number off.

Most fights of the Genin and Chunin level were mostly done with Taijutsu, with only Chunin specializing in certain areas or coming from clans being able to use more than a few B-rank Jutsu.

Namiko meanwhile, had been forced out of hiding as she was fighting against her enemy, who had taken out a sword.

This had negated her advantage as she now had a disadvantage in close combat since she had never had to fight against someone specializing in Kenjutsu

Luckily, she still had her shadow clone Jutsu. Although she hadn't mastered it, she was still able to make two battle-ready clones. Although she was able to make more, the chakra cost made it worthless in battle.

Due to the creation of her seals, Namiko was relatively low on chakra. She knew she had to finish her fight soon.

Looking to her right, she could barely make out Semaru finishing off his enemy with his clan's technique, the gentle fist.

Taking back her concentration on her enemy, Namiko started gathering her chakra while making a plan.

As she had finished her preparation, Namiko flickered behind her enemy, slamming a kunai in the enemy's back.

*uh*

Although she had successfully stabbed him, she now had to deal with the incoming sword strike.

"[Earth Release: Earth Shore Return]"

The stonewall was barely able to stop the attack, but her enemy promptly continued as he tried breaking through the wall.

"[Kinjutsu: Sword drill]"

Using his sword like a drill, her enemy was quickly able to break through the wall, slashing through a wooden block.

However before he could react, a kunai went right through the left side of his neck with Namiko standing behind him.

Since he was unable to speak, he could only look at the person who had caused his imminent death. Although he was stronger than his enemy, she had better control over her Jutsu and had simply outsmarted him.

Meanwhile, Namaki had easily evaded the enemies coming for her. At the moment two Chunin were trying to get her, but she simply abused the unnatural mastery she had over the body flicker technique to evade their attacks and continue her massacre of the enemy troops.

As this continued, one of the Chunin suddenly dropped dead, shocking his partner. Namaki, standing atop the corpse only looked straight at the other one, scaring him into running away.

After close to a minute of running he decided he was far enough and took a small break, only to notice the kunai, which had pierced his heart.

"D-Devil."

As they all had taken care of their enemies and Kakashi had cleared the remaining ones, they decided to go back to base and rest. The battle had been exhausting for all of them, even Kakashi. Although it was easy to kill these small fries for him, it was still quite exhausting.

Hey! Some might be confused now as to why the fight went out as it did, as such here is a small explanation.

Overall: The level of Jutsu for Chunin is C. Some of these techniques are apparently the wall and water walking technique. The characters from Naruto are just too talented since they are from the main families of their respective clans and have as such a good mastery over at least one B-rank Jutsu, which is usually one their clan is famous for.

People like Iruka, who are quite experienced, are able to use a few B-rank Jutsu but normal Chunin can't.

Though I did nerf Namiko quite a bit for this fight.

Namiko: Although she has had a lot of training even before she graduated, she is still missing experience. She is able to use a few B-rank Jutsu,but she was missing a lot of chakra because she used it to make these traps. If she didn't she would have used one or two and wiped him.

Namaki: Since she hides her real level, she just abuses low-level techniques like the Body Flicker or Substitution Jutsu, which Kakashi thinks is something she trains every day.
