ENTRY II

From the tall bush I appeared and I had a strange sword on my back. Small rays of flickering light illuminated the forest around me. At that time I was none other than Konrad Belman, Knight Paladin of Winstar and at the same time the Prince of Winstar, Maerdan and Upper Simmand.

I went through the dense bush, my sword flashed. Something was behind that bush; I was more than keen to find out.

I will cut you, even if it was the last thing I do.

The bush fell like a leaf that is carried by the wind, behind it a large opening appeared. I placed my right foot forward.

There are no magic traps. That is good, I hope.

The ground trembled; I turned and saw an ogre. Its massive arms were the size of small trunks. A large mallet was hanging on his decorated belt.

"Who are you?" the ogre said.

"I am Konrad, Prince of Winstar." I replied.

"What are you doing here?" the ogre looked at me.

"Searching for a way out, of course." I replied again.

"No doubt, Konrad, Prince of Winstar." he wasn't so sure.

"I am." I reassured him.

"Why should I believe you?" he continued.

"You don't have to, but you will see when the Union comes." I knew what was happening in the west.

"The Union?" the ogre looked at me, eyes puzzled.

"Yes." I continued, for the moment was right, the ogre didn't know what was happening in the west.

"In that case, I will help." it was more than clear what the ogre thinks about the Union.

The opening became bigger; the ogre moved his hand across the opening, a strange-bluish light emerged from the opening.

"This is where I leave you," the ogre said. "Our paths will meet again."

"What now?" I asked.

"Go through this opening and it will lead you to the nearest city." was the reply.

I entered the portal, the light engulfed me. Everything around me was dark as the darkest night. Rays of light appeared from every side, my body trembled. I tried to move, my body didn't listen. It was over in a second. A massive ray of light swooped through me, my body was divided into a million pieces. I traveled.

The massive stone door opened; at last, I felt the warmth of the sun. It was pleasing. The traces of the town appeared against the warm colored rocks.
