Swordsman Tournament. Earth Intent.
After waking up ,I started my day like every other one before it. I swung my sword. I didn't just swing my sword though. I stood in a form of horse stance mixed with a sword swinging posture. It was a bit odd ,but in order to comprehend Sword Intent and level up at the same time ,I have to bare with it. I had just barely reached level 75 today and ranked up from Advanced rank to Master Rank. It has been another month of staying in this town and training and I have finally comprehended Rank-9 Mortal Intent. Mostly thanks to the Sword Intent Mat. Without it ,I would at most reach Rank-6 Mortal Intent by now. My disciple had reached level 39 a week ago and is almost at level 40. Currently I'm just waiting for him to wake up and train. Once he reaches level 40 and achieves Rank-4 ,I feel that I will receive a large gift from the system. Maybe with it I can even comprehend the Rank-1 Earth Intent.

After my disciple came out to do morning practice with me ,we both heard a shout.
"Oh Lord!! They're beginning the Swordsman Tournament early this year!"
Hearing the words "Swordsman Tournament" ,intrigued the two of us. After walking over we asked someone about it. He looked at us and noticed our swords. After giving a kind smile he spoke.
"You both must be new 'round here. If ye' haven't heard of the Swordsman Tournament."
"Yes ,in fact we are on a training journey to hone ourselves. We come from the far east." I stated ,already having a backstory formed from the information gained at the previous village. A lot of swordsmen are from the far east of the continent. Currently they are around northwest on the continent. As for an image of the continents. Imagine a circle. Now imagine that divided into a perfectly even pie chart of 3 triangles. Now make the triangles float apart and rough around the edges and you have the general overview of the Three Divine Continents.
"Alright ,I'll educate ye' both really quick. The Swordsmen Tournament is a fighting tournament held by the town mayor of the surrounding 3 big towns in order to gather worthy swordsmen to enter one of the eight major cities. The top 5 of the tournament get to go to the closest Major city and train in an academy there."
Of course one has to know that this is mostly just a recruitment plan of the major city to get talented swordsmen to recruit. I can't be bothered with a mere tournament. According to Sword Freak ,I still have a long way to go before I can even be considered average in my current solar system. I don't have to enter it though. I can always make my disciple enter. I know he probably won't make it to the top 5 but I don't want him to anyway. I just want him to gain experience in it.

And after thinking about it we asked how to register and found that a building next to the town hall is the reception hall for the tournament. Of course it's in a well known location. After registering Yan Shi for the tournament ,we found that the official date for the preliminaries are in a month. There are two weeks until registration was closed. After training for another month ,Yan Shi easily broke past level 40 and reached level 41 before the tournament started. I of course also levelled up once and after receiving the Rank-4 gift from Yan Shi ,I gained the path to comprehending the Rank-1 Earth Intent. After instructing Yan Shi to absolutely not get into the top 5. The top 10 is perfectly fine. I sent him off to the preliminary examination and started comprehending the Earth Intent. Using the Mat ,I only took a week to comprehend it. After laying down my Mortal Pavilion made out of my Peak Grade-9 Mortal Intent. I started condensing a wisp of Rank-1 Earth Intent. After it formed ,I had successfully reached Rank-1 Earth Intent. After reaching Earth Intent ,I realized that I had gained an extra skill point. It seems that every higher level of intent provides more skill points.
