Batte Against The Wolves - Chapter 17 - Part 2

The sword grazes the Dire Wolf closest to him, and the second one bites Alan on the right foot, but Alan ignores the pain and uses the spear to penetrate the dire wolf's right eye. The creature lets go of Alan's feet.

Alan swings his sword and cuts the mouth of the dire wolf who bit him, and the creature backs away.

Alan grasps the spear and fires it at a person whose mouth he has injured. dealing a grave injury, making the creature unable to fight anymore.

Alan rises from the ground and turns to face the lone Dire Wolf.

"Now, all of your friends are dead." "What are you going to do?"

Dire Wolf, who was left alone, could not help but look at the corpses of his pack and then turn his back and start to run. entering the forest, leaving the area.

Alan smiles and comments. "Yeah, I would do the same."

He then looks at these feet. The injury is not much, but his footwear was messed up. if not for the boots he is wearing. It is more than likely that he would lose his feet. "A small risk for a huge win, I guess."

Alan comments and then looks at the corpses of dire wolves. His eyes change a little, and he asks himself.

"I wonder about the taste of dire wolf meat."

Alan starts to cut a leg piece from the dead dire wolf and starts cooking it on the fire. Sitting on the log, he takes a deep breath.

"I wonder, if I go through this, how other contestants are doing."

as he waits for the meat to cook. He can not help but ask.

-

Alan did not know, but more than 70 percent0 of contestants died at the hands of wild animals, other ill-intentioned contestants,s and monsters living in the forest. Not everyone was lucky. Most of them died directly on the first day. Some of them died the next night. Not everyone could be like Alan.

Alan's most important ability is not sword use; it is the Executioner's Mind. It5 may not look like much,h but the fact that the ability is there gives Alan a calm attitude toward the events he encounters.

He manages to think even in dire times. By thinking, he manages to use what he has in his arsenal against threats. He solved the water problem, the food problem, and the protection problem.

He did not rely on what Pandora gave him—the sword mastery ability. He relied on using his mind and intelligence to increase his odds.

If he did not prepare spears for his use, he would not be able to fight against the four dire wolves, and he would die. It was as simple as that. Most of the contestants placed too much faith in their new abilities, and as a result, they became prey for monsters, wild animals, and other contestants.

only the ones who do not accept the situation as it is. But they begin to work on themselves, adapting the future events they have witnessed to tell the tale. There is still one more day left that they need to keep on surviving.
