"Mind if I join you," Zyra asked.
"Suit yourself," replied a despondent Nyla.
Zyra had heard all about their recent escapade from Frank and Nyla still had not managed to return to the makeshift campsite, maybe out of sheer embarrassment. That's what Zyra was here to find out.
For Nyla, it had been many hours before she could calm herself, her mind still reeling from the events she witnessed earlier. Frank had led her down to the lake so that they could both wash and freshen up before returning to the campsite empty handed.
"Go ahead Frank, I'll catch up," Nyla said about an hour ago.
She still hadn't moved an inch from the spot where he left her and sat alone by the lake. Nyla sat there contemplating her life for the longest time. She just wanted to have everything completely sorted in her mind before she spoke with Leon.
