MASTER OF DISGUISE-CHAPTER 8
Dave walks up to Carls' door and knocks on it, Carl slowly opens it looking Dave directly in his eyes. "Brother I need you" tears rushes down his face like a river, Carl avoids looking at him he tries closing the door but Dave's foot stops it.
"You're going to treat the only family you have like this, what about our promise of sticking together no matter what?" Dave holds onto the door with one hand while streching his other hand out for Carl to hold.
"You haven't been very brotherly to me" Carl says looking into Dave's eyes, anger boiling in his system ready to explode. "Come with me I'll explain everything to you, you won't understand now" Dave lets go of the door and takes a step back waiting for Carl to come outside.
With a deep sigh Carl follows Dave to the car in silence. Layna quietly watches them through the peep hole in the door, In her hand is the necklace that Carl dug up. "Dave you won't get away with this" she says as she tightly grips the chain.

Dave takes Carl back to his mothers' house, he holds his hand and guides him to his room, just like old times. "There are some things you need to know that Ive been holding back on" Dave says as he lays on the bed. Carl follows him and focuses on what he has to say, "Lets start with my family, Tia and Lana aren't quite normal, well they aren't like you".
Confused, Carl takes a book and pen then begins to write, "They're more like me, that's why I've kept them away from you because they won't understand". Carl smiles and and looks at him "keeping you're wife away from me I see", Dave chuckles and sits up on the bed "It's not like that, I want you to meet her but it's way more complicated than that".
Carl just stares at him as he continues, "That day we seperated when you went to collage, I went back to my home realm and that's where I met Tia and well we had Lana". Carl stops writing and begins to think for a moment, "Do you think that Lana knows the difference between you and I?", Dave smirks and gets off the bed.
"It's pretty obvious that she does, she knows her father well, a bit too well but it still confuses me why she says nothing about it." Carl puts his finger on his lips indicating that Dave should stay quiet, he then slowly leaves the room

Layna appears in Lanas' room after she summons her, "mom wants to meet you" Lana says sitting on the chair near her desk. Layna walks straight out of the room in search of Tia, "you can't just walk out there" Lana chases behind her and pulls her back into the room.
With an attitude Layna pushes Lana away and sits on the bed, "what's the matter?" Lana asks while locking the door, "Do you think your father would like me?" Layna asks while looking at herself in the mirror, she plays with her hair and touches her neck as though she remembers something.
"He's cool, no need to worry he likes anyone I like" Lana holds her hand and walks her outside, "why do you hold my hand all the time" Layna asks out of concern. Lana stops walking and turns around, she notices her hand locked together with hers' "Oh I didn't notice that, dad always does it to me so I do it to others I guess"
Tia walks out of her room and sees Layna, speechless she tries to compose herself then walks up to them. "Is this the friend you were telling me about?" she faces Lana trying to avoid eye contact with Layna.
"Can you give us some time to talk" Layna says to Lana, she side eyes Tia and walks out the door with Tia following behind her. They are at the park sitting on one of the benches, "Look I'm not here for your friendship but I do need your help" Layna says as she looks off into the distance.
"You have a funny way of asking for help, you really think I'll agree with that attitude" Tia gets off the bench and stands in front of her. "You have no idea who you're talking to" Layna gets up and closes the gap between them, "I can say the same to you, thread lightly and this will end smooth" Tia scans her body from her head to her feet.

Izzie wakes up in Carls' bed confused as to how she got there, She searches for her phone on the bed and finds it under the pillow. Immediately she calls Carl, "hello?" Dave answers the phone frantically looking around for Carl.
"Carl?" she says for the secound time trying to get his attention. In a failed attempt to find Carl, Dave continues the conversation, "yes love?". She hesitates for a brief moment then shakes it off, "I need to see you as soon as possible, I'm in your bed but...". Dave eyes widen as he scans the house for carl "ookayy.... can you hold a secound" he finally sees Carl in the backyard.
He points towards the phone then gives it to him, "Iz?" he says in a confused tone. As Carl speaks to Izzie, Dave goes back inside he suddenly gets an uneasy feeling, He steps infront of the mirror and carefully looks at himself. In the corner of his eyes he sees a dark figure, "Layna" he says calmly, she appears infront of him "don't upset me, you have one minute to get out of this house"
He turns his back and walks towards the backyard, "Let me borrow you for a minute" He says to Carl as he walks into his body.

Ms. Gobin sits outside the cabin thinking about what happened earlier, She almost had Izzie but Layna disrupted everything. She remembers how Layna came out of Izzies' body while she was dragging her to the cage.
"Don't worry about it, she can't be here for long she needs a body to stay in this realm longer". Aaron says while swinging the keys to his car, "I know every single one of them except Carl and Izzie because I didn't create them, but I have a plan", he looks at Ms. Gobin and they smile at each other.

Lana stands on the couch fixing her painting on the wall, In the Painting is Dave and Carl, she steps down to bring a smaller painting that just has her in it. She puts it beside the first one and draws a heart between them.
"Layna romance me" she summons Layna and she appears sitting on the couch. "Do you like it?" Lana says with a huge smile on her face, "you can't keep calling me here for your paintings" she rolls her eyes and looks at them.
"You said you would tell me the story of my dad and Carl, but you never did" Lana folds her arms and stares at Layna. "How much do you want to know?" she asks while laying back on the couch, Lana gets excited and jumps onto the couch "Everything!"

Nyola is on the bridge in her backyard, she's going through the list of people that was in Izzies' diary, *Dave,Lana,Tia,Aaron* "who are these people? and why is aaron here" she whispers to herself.
She then opens the book that Aaron gave to Carl, In the very back there is a picture of Layna and every detail of her personality, age and mission. She then flips through the book again and sees a tiny envelope with the letter *L* on it, Inside of it has a piece of paper marked *Lana*.
Closing the books, she carries them to a little box puts them in and locks it. "Didn't think you were smart enough" Aaron says standing behind her, Nyola turns around then quickly takes the box from the floor. "What have you done Aaron?", he ignores her question and streches his hand out for her to give him the box.
Backing away she looks around for something to defend herself with. Aaron quickly walks up to her starts stabbing her multiple times until her body becomes lifeles. Standing behind a Tree is Dave who witnessed the entire thing, "It's okay i'll make sure he suffers" Dave whispers within himself to Carl, tears begin rolling down his face as Carl tries to compose himself within Dave.
