Preparations

I turned back around and glared at the group of old men. My patience had indeed been worn thin.

"I will stay only for Vicky at this point, do not test me again," I said with intent in my voice.

The old man looked at me with a curious expression, his eyes held a fierceness that would make many take a step back. I took a step forward. His shocked expression told me everything I needed to know; the final test was that of will. He smiled and nodded.

"You are an indeed strong child, I apologize for that just now, you must understand the predicament we find ourselves in. We are talking about the annihilation of my family. I looked at the elder's sincerity and sighed.

"I already signed the contract, if I wasn't willing to help do you think I would of?" I asked looking around the room.
