A New Target

I sat down across from the white-haired beauty. Her eyes followed my every movement, her hand on a hidden blade on her waist.

"Even if you managed to pull that knife out, I will be faster than you. Don't annoy me further and place both hands palms down on the table." I said losing my cool.

She glared at me for a few seconds before sighing and placing her hands on the table. I stood up and walked over to her and took the knife.

"Any more?" I asked leaning beside her.

She once again sighed and lifted her arms into the air. Under her arms was a vest with knife handles sticking out from pouches. I unzipped the vest and threw it outside. She jumped towards it out of instinct and then sighed.

"That was a fairly expensive vest you know." She grumbled.

"Get over it. You shouldn't have come after me. Your lucky that vest is the only thing you have lost so far." I replied with a sneer.
