Kiss Me Hard Before You Go

Shuule had shuffled herself out of the nest, feverishly eating some of the berries that had rolled onto the ground, before creaking open the door slightly to look down and around. She couldn't see Aries, but she could smell him.

Set had left his post on the ground and slithered up to the top of the treehouse to soak up as much warmth as he could. He was sure he could hang on until the egg had hatched, but not much longer. He was also worried he would be slow, and a bad protector, which was in part why he was allowing the ram to stick around. He wasn't sure what a three striped ram could do to a tiger of similar stripes, but he knew that Aries could probably pummel anyone below his stripes. He wouldn't be able to sleep if he thought Shuule's eye was being caught by a cat - they couldn't be trusted, not now.
