" Cheers bro, to your graduation," Justin said as he raised his glass towards Jeremy.
" Thanks brother, cheers to me," he replied and they both drank.
" Today was really great, I kind of enjoyed the ceremony and I like the girl that gave the speech too," Justin said as he tried to get words out of his mind.
" Ohh, that was Anna Jones. She is a brilliant student, we never talked though," Jeremy replied, not understanding where his brother was driving.
" Wow, she is pretty and I know you like pretty girls Jeremy," Justin answered with a smirk.
" She is not my type and moreover, Sarah is prettier. Did you see how beautiful she looked today? She looked like a lovely damsel," Jeremy replied with a smile on his face.
" Yeah, she doesn't seem genuine but like I said before I'm going to let you make your decisions and face the consequences alone," Justin said and he rolled his eyes.
" There will be no consequences brother, you are just too paranoid and you see everyone as fake and the same goes for Joseph. I'll prove you both wrong," Jeremy replied as he took another sip from his glass.
" Let's watch and see brother," Justin said with a smirk.
" Celebrating without me, that's really bad," Joseph said from behind them and they both turned to look at him surprised.
" You- you're here," Jeremy stammered, he was not expecting to see his older brother and he hoped within him that he heard none of their conversation.
" Ofcourse I am little bro, I will not miss your graduation after party for anything. Congratulations for completing your degree," Joseph said as he poured himself a drink.
" You're one to talk brother, you missed the entire graduation and you stand here to talk about the after party? I'm really shook bro," Jeremy responded, annoyed as Justin tried to warn him but he continued.
" Is there anything else you want to tell me Jeremy?," Joseph asked, unfazed by his previous words.
" I just did, brother, how can you miss your brother's graduation because of business brother? Have you forgotten our brother's golden rule?," Jeremy asked almost in a yell and Joseph scoffed.
" Brother's golden rule Jerry, you're one to talk about that," Joseph replied as he sipped his drink. Justin on the other hand watched the spar of words by his brother and he suspected Joseph's calmness was going to lead to something else if Jeremy kept pressing him.
"What do you mean by that brother? And also please don't call me Jerry, you know how much I hate that name," Jeremy responded, very much annoyed at this point and Justin knew he had to intervene before it got worse.
" Stop it Jeremy, he is still your older brother and you have to respect him for Everything he has done for you," Justin said calmly to Jeremy.
" Don't interfere Justin, stay out of this. It is between us," Joseph replied to him immediately.
" After everything he has done for me, you repeat the same song everyday. Can't you see he's going down the same path as father?," Jeremy said and Justin knew he had hit their brother's breakpoint as he saw his brother freeze with his eyes becoming red from anger.
" Shut up Jeremy, why are you always so stubborn? You should be better than this by now," Justin screamed at him angrily but stopped as he saw Joseph's raised hands.
" Let him continue Justin, you really think I am like Dad. I have never kept anything from you and I always wanted the best for you but you keep going against me. I know about her, I know about Sarah and I have always known about it," Joseph said and his two brothers opened their mouths in awe.
" How did you…?," Justin was about to ask but stopped halfway.
" And you Justin, I can't believe you kept this from me after you found out. I expected much more from you," Joseph faced him and he became mute.
" And so what if you know about Sarah, I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her and I don't expect you to understand because you have never felt love in your entire life," Jeremy fired back at him.
" Shut your mouth Jeremy, you think you know it all but you know nothing and don't play the emotional card on me, I'm not a fool. How could you keep this away from me?," Joseph asked with disappointment on his face which surprised Justin.
" What would you have done if I had told you? Of Course you will see her the same way you see all women, like vipers who have come to feast on our wealth and I know you would have tried to seperate us but this time around, I can assure you that you won't get between our love," Jeremy threatened with confidence.
" You really like her Jeremy, she has really blinded you. Who is she again? Wasn't she the lady at your right? The blonde lady to be exact, The one who wanted to be in every picture with you," Joseph said as he took another sip from his glass.
" How did you know that?," Jeremy asked confused as he stared at Justin who was also confused.
" Because I was there Jerry, I saw everything from the beginning to the end. I watched your entire graduation and I would have not missed it for the world," Joseph replied leaving his two brothers stunned.
" Then why didn't you say anything or try to meet me?," Jeremy asked, confused and surprised at the same time.
" I didn't want to take all the attention from you and from what I saw, she is just like the rest of them and might even be worse so you have to let go of her," Joseph said and Jeremy's face lit up in anger again.
" I am a full grown man and you are not going to control me again, not anymore. I am not leaving her and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop me brother," Jeremy responded before walking out on them, leaving his two brothers alone in the room.
