The blade of my sword against the human cat's claws made my ears bleed. To stop my agony, I leaped away, keeping an eye on the monster before me.

He chuckled, licking his lips before brandishing his sharpened claws.

I wonder what his true form looked like. Was it the same as the cat I killed earlier? Or maybe it was from the same family tree but just more advanced?

'Extremely high.' I pursed my lips.

[Those monsters are rare]

"You don't say," I mumbled.

My chest heaved in and out. The specific monster had me sweating and swearing. I wanted to curse Nirvana for putting me in this situation. Again.

I still had no plans of killing it. But I'm keeping in mind what Fifi said: Kill or be killed.

There was no in-between. Thus, I made a point not to let my concentration slip. If I do, that would be fatal for me.

Dying for the third time might not get so lucky to come back.
