"Stop!"

Queen shouted. I was seconds away from hitting the chest of her favorite pet. But her voice echoed inside the spacious building we were in. I was brought to a halt.

However, I didn't drop the stance. I just gave pause to the horse.

Her once composed expression was contorted into a scowl. She snapped her fingers, and the hole on the floor vanished.

Along with its disappearance were her pets and Gala. Then, putting back on her usual pose, she gave me a condescending gaze. Her cold stare could freeze me in place if she had that kind of power.

"There," Queen stated. I raised an apprehensive brow her way. "That will be the last time I will interfere."

"We didn't need you to. But okay," I replied. Queen glared in my direction. I snorted and shook my head.

The dice rolled, and we were back to waiting for what would happen next. It landed on two.
