Let's talk it out!
****
"Finn could you not talk to me about it?"
"About what?" Finn asked back as they strode into the living room, he and Jack dropped on the sofa sighing out, Jack pulled out his phone to use while Carmen sat opposite staring at Finn who leaned backwards looking into the ceiling bulbs.
"Don't pretend about it Finn, you know exactly what I'm talking about." She stated seriously
"Look Mom can you just let this go? I mean you're asking questions...too many questions,"
"I wanna help!"
"How?" He lifted up his body adjusting in a upright position. "How would you help me?"
"Finn we could try what we can,"
"I don't wanna know what you wanna do to help 'cause it won't help Mom," He lays back with his arms crossed on his chest
"Lindsey told me everything---" Carmen began
"Of course she would," Finn said underneath his breath
"...Yes." She scoffed and continued. "She told me everything and how it happened, it doesn't seem good Finn, let's talk it out. It's beginning to get too unbearable for me..."
"Its about you right?" He asked coolly lifting his body to face her again. "I've spent the last six years trying to explain to you about this, you were focused on your job and how to save the world and not me. All you wanted to do was assure me that I'd be fine or it was only a dream and now you care? Now you decided to care or find out? You could have saved Dad or tried to know what happened to him if you really cared. You love yourself alone," He was raising his voice little by little at her and she got worried and somewhat guilty of the things he was saying. Jack contemplated whether or not to stop Finn from talking, he felt he shouldn't interrupt anyways since it was only a genuine conversation.
"Finn,"
"No you care now? After all these years?" He asked "It's too late Mom, stop trying to help me. I'm gonna figure this out on my own!" Finn stated again. He squinted his eyes and opened again while she stood silent with her face to ground interlocking her fingers. "Maybe you should go back to your Force, I'm sorry but i don't need your help!" Finn blurted out nonchalantly standing to his feet attempting to leave. She rose to her feet too.
"Boy don't talk to me that way, I'm still your mother. I quit that job for you," she stated angrily
"Well I didn't ask you to, you chose to do it!" He snapped
"Sit your ass down Finn, I'm still talking to you!" She warned
"I don't wanna talk about it, I'm done A'ight! Just do your thing, do your job and don't pretend to care about me now." He added. It was too much for her to digest, Finn doesn't speak to her in such a manner. Ever since he turned seventeen he had begun to act weird, she threw a slap to his face. Maybe he was straying away she reasoned.
His frown grew thicker, he became angrier as Jack got to his feet at once.
"Yeah right, I expected this too." Finn snapped coolly running to his room, Jack followed from behind.
"Finn!"
Carmen broke into tears, she dropped on the sofa, she was pained that Finn blamed her for the death of her husband, the darkest part of her life that she didn't want to remember. She had so many questions to ask but there was not a forthcoming answer. She hurried into her room as fast as she could.

"Finn what was that?" Jack questioned after closing the door behind him
"Its none of your business man, let it be." Finn said then threw his bag on the reading table walking to the side of his bed, he pulled the first drawer and brought out the gaming items that he and Jack normally played.
"It is my business because I was there and nothing was unheard of!" Jack said
"Whatever! You don't know shit. My Mom is just acting up the loving Mom thing. She's never usually like that, all she does is work work work so why should I not talk about that?" Finn stood holding his waist while Jack tried to fix the cables to the TV.
"And the part you spoke about your dad? Was it her fault?" Jack stopped to ask
"Jack,"
"Finn,"
"Let it go, she knows exactly what I'm talking about. She understands nothing at all..."
"At least she tries to seem to help, she quitted her job for you," Jack pointed out then Finn drew closer.
"Stop talking as though you know something. She quitted her job for her sake not mine, stop defending her Jack. I'm gonna get mad---" Finn stated
"Who cares if you run mad?" Jack cringed "Don't fuckin try to scare me. After all the anger shit, you are gonna apologize to her!" Jack stated nonchalantly
"Fine!" Finn snapped almost guilty of what he had done. Jack then walked over to the Finn's laptop that was on the table. "When last did you check in?"
"I don't know, can't remember!" Finn snapped setting up the combat game he wanted them to play as he sat on the edge of the bed, Jack dragged the chair closer to seat and opened it. "Are you still in the deal? If you win you get my game for a week and if i win five times I'd get yours?!" Finn was still speaking while struggling to fix the games.
When Jack opened the computer the first thing he saw a figure in a black cape with no face holding a scepter that had a people's faces on the spherical object attached to it about had spikes all around it, if given a chance you would not be able to touch it because of the sharp edges of the spikes. A second later it caught fire as the flames bote into the thick gray clouds. The figure walked closer and jack felt in real as he stood up moving away slowly way from the computer. The figure then lifted the scepter at pointed it at Jack as called out In fear and shock, he felt like his chest was being gored with the scepter of burning flames.
"Finn?!"
Finn turned to Jack and quickly pushed him away as they both landed to the ground, both were panting heavily. The fire that was struck out burnt poster on the wall after they had ducked and the image in the computer disappeared. The screen was back to normal, it was only the Avengers' wallpaper and icons on the screen.
Finn got off Jack and lent him a hand to rise up.
"Now you believe me?" Finn asked Jack who still couldn't speak nor believe his eyes and the words he saw on the screen before now.
*TELL HIM HE'S CHOSEN!"
