Erin wanted to give her daughter, Charlie, a normal childhood, but Charlie isn't a normal child. Charlie and her mother are both witches. After escaping government captors, Erin gave birth on the run and spent many years moving Charlie from town to town to avoid being locked up and experimented on. When Charlie started high school, Erin made a promise they wouldn't move again until she had graduated. Now, they've made it to senior year without issue but when a new kid shows up at school, Charlie notices something strange about him. In order to uncover the truth, she begins acting out of character and going behind her mother's back to handle everything on her own. Charlie's reckless behavior opens the door for trouble to quickly find them once again. With Erin as her teacher, Charlie still has a lot to learn before she is ready to face the unknown evils that have been after them for all these years.

Witches In Suburbia

       “Charlie!” I open my eyes and look over to see Axel storming toward me. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Max has turned around after hearing my name and is quickly making his way back over to me.


	“Really? Again?” I look around for security but don’t see any nearby. I thought Emily talked to security about Axel being on campus. After his little gesture with my locker, he should not be able to get onto campus this easily.


	I get up from the table and move away from it to put myself in a position that would make for an easy escape if I need to run. 


 	“What is he doing here?” Max hisses angrily. I’m angry too. I don’t have time for this and I definitely don’t want to deal with the two of them trying to fight again.


	“Max, you should just walk away. He won’t hurt me, but as we’ve seen from last night, he will hurt you,” I try to convince Max to leave but he shakes his head and stays where he is, slightly behind me.
