Erin wanted to give her daughter, Charlie, a normal childhood, but Charlie isn't a normal child. Charlie and her mother are both witches. After escaping government captors, Erin gave birth on the run and spent many years moving Charlie from town to town to avoid being locked up and experimented on. When Charlie started high school, Erin made a promise they wouldn't move again until she had graduated. Now, they've made it to senior year without issue but when a new kid shows up at school, Charlie notices something strange about him. In order to uncover the truth, she begins acting out of character and going behind her mother's back to handle everything on her own. Charlie's reckless behavior opens the door for trouble to quickly find them once again. With Erin as her teacher, Charlie still has a lot to learn before she is ready to face the unknown evils that have been after them for all these years.

Witches In Suburbia

 I unzip my dress bag and inside is a blue dress, cape, and tall hat. Emily, Elizabeth, and I decided to go as Aurora’s fairy godmothers. Emily is in green and Elizabeth has the red outfit hanging on a locker door. I’m not sure who the idea came from but being three fairies is kind of funny to me. 


Once we are all dressed, we store our other clothes and head back out to the dance. All of the main lights have been switched off and the added fairy lights and lanterns have added a mysterious touch making the room feel like a spooky but cool place for our dance. Each section is done very well and the graveyard almost looks real, the gravestones that we found look like they’ve been around for hundreds of years. 


“Wow! This place looks amazing!” Elizabeth says and bounces on her toes, she kind of looks like she is bobbing in the air, floating, which is perfect for our outfits.
