ELLIE
“YOU B*TCH!”
I froze with my fork halfway to my mouth the next morning.
Beside me, Kate snickered and right then I knew this was about her.
I looked toward the door to see a male vampire as he stormed over with red cheeks and only a towel around his waist. His hair was neon pink.
“Oh sh*t,” I muttered and set my fork back down on my plate.
Kate stood and laughed. “It wasn’t me; I swear.”
“No one in here believes that,” the vampire snarled as he stopped in front of her.
I stood from my own chair and wiped my sweaty palms on my leggings. “Is there something I can do to fix this?”
The male looked to me and his eyes softened a hair. “You’ve done nothing wrong. Why should you fix it?”
I shook my head. “She doesn’t mean anything bad by it.”
He frowned at me. “You’re wrong. She didn’t like that I told her off for not helping me with something when she was right there and available, so she did this.” He waved at his neon pink hair.
