A Very Long Day

Katherine had said with a look of confidence that would cook.

But now she was standing in the royal kitchen with a staff staring back at her. She felt deflated like a balloon.

The amount of utensils and instruments scared me. It was scarier than the war she had thought about.

"Your majesty. Did we make any mistakes?" asked the main chef under the eyes of all his staff. They all felt like the meat under the knife of a butcher which would see their death but could do nothing to protect themselves.

Under the cold look of the empress they felt it was no less than a sharp blade that was cutting their soul and they shuddered.

Only then did she realized that they had misunderstood her intention of coming there.

"I am not here with a complaint or grievance." she spoke in a calm tone and then looked around, "i am here to seek your help. I want to cook food for my sons."
