Lia Was Afraid

The soft breeze caressed her skin and she felt better. Her body, which had turned warm, finally started to cool down too.

She walked a bit and then let go of the high heels she was wearing and then sat on the grass with her swollen feet in the water.

The cold water felt so good to her skin and her face relaxed.

Lia finally felt better now that her master was not panicking.

She sat on her lap and sighed.

"Those humans never treated you well. Yet you neve accepted my invitation!" she grumbled with a look of anger on her face, "if only you had accepted it, we would have not been sitting here."

Kath smiled but did not say anything. Her parents have never gone to that land and she was never told about it. If not for Lia, she had never realized that she was a bit different from others.

But her mother had told her once, if she would go to their lands, you could never come back. You will be part of them.
