Leave Him

He stood up immediately and stared at the sky. It would be morning in a few minutes. Though he ordered the knights, he was sure that it was impossible for them to come this soon with so much information.

The only person who could share the information with him was her!

But would he go and ask her? Why not? It was only for the welfare of the empire. He repeated the words in his mind, and then stood up.

As he walked out of his palace, he noticed that there was no other carriage in the garden except his and his eyes narrowed.

He waved his hands to the nearest maid who came running to him.

"Your majesty!"

"Where is her majesty?" he asked when the girl trembled.

The carriage of the empress was just behind him. It had been more than two hours since he came back but the carriage of the empress was still not there.

Since they have common knights, most of them have returned too with no idea that the second carriage did not follow them.
