Chapter-43

The research departments of major organisations have not given up on the artificial Mutant experiment, despite the fact that all of them ended in cruel failures and were unsuccessful.

They spend a lot of money to buy relevant clues, particularly for those newly discovered mutants that have not yet been discovered by the rest of the world.

In these final hours of the wilderness, there is also a character class known as the Bounty Hunter. They make a living by specialising in the hunting of new forms of mutant life, including mutants with previously undocumented powers, in order to increase their wealth.

Alex came to the conclusion that it would be in his best interest to let those mercenaries play the role of pawns in order to successfully break into the extremely hazardous building that was hidden in front of them. The mercenary company Michellien would not skip the opportunity to investigate the peculiar behaviour of zombies in any way, shape, or form.

Just as he turned around to make preparations to temporarily return

Alex was startled when he received a piercing look that was like an icy arrow, and a defiant laser shot from behind towards his back, which caused him to once again recognise the threat and stare at himself!

I found myself suddenly looking back!

I noticed that on one of the floors of the building in front of them, there was a pair of dark purple light spots that were staring at their location with a hostile and menacing atmosphere.

Is that the eye of the enigmatic monster, and did he get caught?!!

Huh! !! !! !!

Alex and the pair of purple eyes were in the middle of a conversation when all of a sudden, a large group of zombies on the square suddenly closed their eyes and raised their eyes, let out a deafening roar, and looked at him while he was hiding!

Alex's vision turned a deep crimson colour as a result of the light being absorbed by the crimson pupils of zombies.

"Damn!"

Alex's leg muscles also skyrocketed instantly the moment the enemy noticed it, his knees were slightly bent, and all of the Doomsday-Viruses in his body started to work and condense to his legs. He then started like he was slinging an arrow!

This step instantaneously caused him to step out of the tens of metres away, leaving everything behind his head as he struggled to sprint towards the exit of the Street of Living Dead!

And the collective response in the centre of the square appeared to be a group of zombies that had received some mysterious instructions, almost as if a group of ants had found some meat, and they rushed to the human spy!

At this point, Alex focused all of his energy on his legs, and his running speed increased to nearly 100 metres in six seconds. This was a significant improvement over the speed of a first-order agile eschatology hunter, and it was close to or even slightly faster than the speed of a second-order eschatology hunter!

As a result, he also left the zombies that were behind him very far behind, and he listened to the roaring of their fury while they were still unwilling!

Even though Alex was running at a high speed, he did not feel secure in the knowledge that he was keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings.

Alex was absolutely right to say that. When he was just about to walk across a crossroad in front of him, suddenly the windows of the buildings that were surrounding him burst, and a large number of eerie corpses jumped out of the windows like raindrops!

After falling to the ground, the zombies that were lying in front of the building also growled at Alex and rushed towards him, demonstrating a two-sided attack with the zombies that were behind the building!

The ear-splitting roar of the zombies came dangerously close to shattering the windows of the building.

Thousands of living corpses are more than enough to submerge all of one's foes in a sea of dead bodies.

And you, Alex, are about to become the filling for the dumplings that are encircled!

Alex was forced to stop in the middle of the road because of the swarm of dead bodies that looked like a mountain and a sea combined.

It will take less than five seconds for the flood-beast-like offensive of the living corpses to completely submerge him in the putrid ocean!

However, Alex did not show any signs of panic despite the fact that his putrid odour and deafening roar were assaulting his senses at this time.

It is estimated that if regular people are placed in this extremely frightening environment, they will directly scare the insanity or even scare the past. This prediction is based on the fact that ordinary people are fearful by nature.

But Alex is different. He was never a typical individual, and now he does not even qualify as a human being.

When he was first taken in at the orphanage, it was the middle of summer. The boy's demeanour was so icy that the caretaker could feel the temperature of his surroundings drop instantly; consequently, he was given the name Alex.

Alex's character has become more distant from that of typical humans ever since it was fused with the Doomsday-Virus. He is now a reclusive loner.

Fear is one of the human emotions that is being gradually stripped away from his brain.

Even though he was maintaining his composure, Alex looked at the zombies from the besieging, and his eyes quickly scanned the surrounding terrain like a calculator.

Since the situation on the ground is hopeless, ascend to heaven!

I came up behind him just as the zombies that were in front of me jumped up and were about to attack him.
