Kingdom of Elves (3)
"It's my pleasure to meet the King chosen by World Tree!"
The Klaus was currently seen greeting the Elven King along with the fairies and his two escorts while being surrounded by all high elves present in hall including both the Elven Princess, Silvia and Sylphy
"The pleasure is ours to finally see the Hero with my own eyes, I have heard about your achievements for years, it's really nice to see the legend right in front of my eyes"
The Elven King replied Klaus's warm greeting in a similar friendly manner, Klaus nodded in acknowledgement and as he looked again there were a few familiar faces
Including both the princess besides the Elven King there was also the Prince of Elves standing besides the throne, similar to both his sisters he also had a proud face and all qualities that made him worthy for his title as prince
"It maybe rude to ask your majesty, but may I know the reason for calling me here?"
Klaus asked showing his proper manners as the Hero and Duke of Empire and looked straight in the eyes of the Elven King
Elven King saw that gaze and a smirk flashed in his face and he replied
"There are two reasons for calling you so abruptly and rudely like this, I will ask for forgiveness for the matter but it is indeed urgent
The first reason is of course the negotiations as you expect, as the have already seen the Elven Kingdom is not like human settlements
We are the race which loves nature and instead of challenging laws and path of nature, we just simply mend with it and that's also the reason we are loved and protected by nature
So I want you to also mend with nature because we will not accept anything inside our territory that harms or opposes nature!"
Klaus nodded and replied smoothly
"I do acknowledge that reasoning of yours, I will be more than happy to support you over this matter but I will be also needing your cooperation for the matter
We would like to plant Space Gates you might have heard of, directly in this place, I will leave it's control over the elves so you don't need to worry about any invasion,
I can also swear upon the name of Gods and my own life that the Space Gates will never be used against you at any cost, the safety of Elves will be my responsibility if any trouble related to Space Gates arises"
The Elven King nodded with a bright smile along with other Elves gathered in here and replied
"We will trust upon your words Hero, I don't think there will be any opposition if you put it like this, and we will also like to request if you can install some Space Gates for our person needs too
In case of emergencies, the Empire and Elven Kingdom has already signed treaty, we would like you to propose the Emperor through you"
'Sly fox is using my name for his benefit with Emperor huh, well it's for sake of common people at the end too...'
Klaus nodded after some thought process and at the end he simply replied
"I will be sure to put good words with the Emperor for your suggestion"
Elven Kingdom just nodded seeing Klaus sigh like that and gestured one of his retainers while continuing on the matter in hand
"Then we can negotiate in much detail about this matter later, then I will present you the second reason for inviting you here to meet personally"
As he finished his words the Elven King stood up from his throne along with others and stated
"We will need to move out personally for this matter, it is really a serious matter and we can't talk about it openly with just anyone, in outside world the only one we can put our trust is you, Hero"
'The atmosphere changed!'
Klaus noticed the playful smile on Elven King turning into a frown and immediately turned serious himself too
"What might be so grave for the proud Elves to be requesting an outsider like me?"
"It will be better to see for yourself..."
The Elven King commented and started moving out of the hall along with others, Klaus was a little confused for a moment because of weird turn of events and just quietly followed the Elven King
'Is it another butterfly effect!? There were quite a lot of events in the original novel that included Elven Kingdom and about 2 major events that changed the path of the world, there is sure to be a chance, I better resolve everything cleanly!'
Klaus thought that but just then suddenly he sensed an unusual gaze besides him, as he turned his gaze suddenly he noticed the Elven Prince looking at him
As soon as their gazes met the Elven Prince turned away his gaze almost reflexively, Klaus's iris on other hand had already turned completely golden
Klaus looked right through the very soul of the Elven Prince walking besides him, one can visibly see the body of Prince shivering with fear because of Klaus's gaze
And next second Klaus removed his gaze with almost unnoticed grin over his face
'The things get intresting really fast in my life huh...'
Klaus just sniggered while the fairies sitting over his body were also seen grinning with their eyes over the prince and wishpered to Klaus
"Will you break limbs?"
"How about crushing the skull?"
"Na~ I know you have a soul element! Let's use that one!"
Klaus smirked with smug face and quietly wishpered back
"How about using it all at once?"
