Chapter 4 *Teaser*

Immediately after confirming Kenji's death, Ryuzaki collapsed from chakra depletion. This of course meant his transformation became undone, and with it a wave of regretful emotions came flowing in.

" I killed him. I actually killed another shinobi. My body won't stop trembling from the excitement. I've finally taken the first step towards achieving my dream. Dahahaha."

Once he could stand up, Suzaku went over to Kenji's body and said a short prayer. After said prayer he began to rummage through his pockets. Sadly, for someone who supposedly worked for Hanzō, Kenji had very little loot. Although that wasn't to say he didn't have anything of value, finding a small pouch in one of his pockets.

" Just a few hundred ryō… Eh, what's that?"

While inspecting the contents of the pouch, Suzaku noticed a bulge near Kenji's waist. Lifting up his shirt he found a scroll attached to his right side. Without any hesitation he retrieved the scroll, unsealed it and went through it's contents.

" Jackpot!"

His enthusiasm was short-lived as several sets of footsteps approached him. Without visually confirming their identity, he would bet it was the townsfolk coming to see the outcome of the battle. Thankfully he'd recovered enough chakra to transform into Ryuzaki once again.

" Time to collect my reward."
