On Your Side

A week has passed since the transplant day.

Robert was released after a few minor complications that had him feeling dizzy and nauseous. He didn't seem to be in a hurry to leave the hospital at all and Cynthia wondered if he was using the complications he was mildly suffering from as an excuse to prolong his stay and be next to Henry.

Robert would stop by Henry's room at least three times a day and spend no less than a couple of hours with him. Even when Henry would be sleeping, and he did sleep a lot, Robert would stay by his side and read or check his business remotely.
