Sylvia was not feeling well.

The perfect plot she put together had heavily backfired on her. She was thankful to have been cautious enough not to get too involved in the case against Cynthia. Sally's father was the one to do all of the heavy liftings after all. Still, she was one of the two anonymous witnesses to testify about the death threats Sally received from the Robinsons. She wished she had never testified. But then without that, she worried that the Russos would have suspected her.

'There was no way around it,' 

Her manicured fingers taped on her lap impatiently while she gazed from the passenger seat window, her book club was meeting today, and her presence was crucial since all the members of that club were a part of DC's elite community.
