You Will Listen to Me

Robert had already texted George that he should go ahead and start the meeting with Richard and then the two of them can brief Robert when he joins soon after.

But that was four hours ago.

George was about to wrap up his meeting with Richard when his father came inside the security room in the Evans mansion looking less like a man and more like a phantom.

"Don't mind me, please carry on," Robert said in a scratchy voice before clearing his throat.

George and Richard or anyone else who remotely knew Robert could immediately tell that something was extremely wrong with him, but they both knew that it was pointless to ask the stubborn man what it was that bothered him right away. Nobody could penetrate Robert's walls of steel unless he gave them the opening to do so.

George was much like his father.
