Hollow - Part One (Sons)

George Robinson rarely cried, and when he did, he preferred to do it alone.

He stood under the shower with both of his palms pressed against the wall and felt every single drop of water that was hitting his skin and burning it, the heat helped take his mind off the burning sensation inside of his heart and soul. It was extremely convenient for the situation he found himself in, the water from the shower that cascaded over his face and his body washed away two rivers of tears that floated from his eyes continuously.  It was as if he wasn't crying at all to the outside world.

Unfortunately for George, he could lie to everybody else, but he couldn't lie to himself.
